RIGHT HERE...I SAID IT FIRST.
I don't know - but her tenure as Governor is term-limited, therefore she cannot run for that office again.
Could it be that her about-face on getting Medicare expansion into Arizona (which she worked very hard on, after originally being vehemently against it) might be some kind of calculation, from HER perception, of what kind of Republican is most likely to gain some traction three years from now? That's a long way off, and by then people will probably more know whether they find Obamacare to be "acceptable" or not. I think many people don't have that figured out yet.
Obamacare, after all, is almost exactly modeled on a plan, FROM ONLY A FEW YEARS AGO, that was completely, BEET-RED, Republican. I'm finding out from here that, in addition to it being a CLONE of Romneycare in Massachusetts, that the entire plan was almost entirely written bvy the Heritage Foundation with near-total input from Big Pharma and Big Health Care.
Jan Brewer is still sticking with a lot of other values which Republicans are more than happy with.
I do think I'll see her in the race in 2016.
