    Oklahoma Tornado Cleanup

I was just reading an article on the cleanup efforts In Moore Oklahoma. It sounds like there is some good things coming from the destruction. I read that some building materials like bricks are given to Habitat for Humanity. It is interesting to me, since I want to move to a warmer climate, and Tornado Alley is on the list of places that are healthier for me to live.

Here is a tornado quiz I found online. How well would you score on this quiz? I will post my score after I take the quiz.

Good on you... I got a 82% because I still have candles in my emergency kit, along with the hand crank weather radio/light and I called 911 to report the tornado on the ground... I would still report it if I had not heard a warning siren or alert and was physically watching a tornado do damage. I had heard an alert then it was already reported.

If you are coming here to live permanently then it just makes sense to buy a house or have one built with a shelter built into the home.

It isn't really "if" it is when and where, I do not have a place picked out yet, Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico and Southern California are all still in the running. One thing I noticed, is that the article and the quiz seem to opinionate brick buildings as being a safer option. I personally like brick houses, in addition to this revelation, brick houses do not need as much exterior painting.

True on brick... I am fond of brick as well but for tornadoes they mean actual brick buildings not the pseudo brick facades that are so popular these days...

An opinion of mine and solely mine on those place...

SoCal is nice but filled with too many laws and fruit loops (and I dont mean queers)
Oklahoma has nothing but shitty roads, big sky and tornadoes... no thank you.
Arizona has that whacked out sheriff and governor so how nice could that place be really
New Mexico is likewise very empty but the most beautiful of all you mention. I have a friend that lives in Albuquerque and he loves it but I just dont know.
Texas I have liked but again they have fucked up politicians so at least 51% of the voting population are that fucked up as well.

If given those options knowing what i do today then Austin is the only place on the map I would land.
