Five year old Moore Oklahoma tornado survivor killed by dog in Arkansas.

    http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2013...iends-dog?lite

I think it is sad, five years old is too young to die, and to have survived the tornados and then get killed by a friend's family dog. The family lost everything in the tornado, and now while trying to recover they lost their son. My heart goes out to the family.

Some of the other victims of the tornado on Friday were storm chasers. It seems like the tornado on Friday was almost as deadly as the EF5 that hit Moore.

I suspect that this is going to make a dent in the field of Tornado Research.

I can not find a link to the story I read after the second storm... but a teacher who used her body to shield the kids in Plaza was quoted as saying "At least I have my house" from her hospital bed; then the second storm took her home. If anything living in tornado alley teaches you that belongings are just accumulated crap that can be replaced as long as you still are drawing breath.

Well, I have always felt that it is friends and sometimes family that is important. Material possessions can be replaced. And, yeah, sometimes family can be replaced too.

You can find other family ties but you cannot replace family that you wanted to keep... no one will ever be my Dad again.

People who keep dangerous breeds should be prosecuted for the resulting injuries or death, as though they did the act themselves.

I find it hilarious to defend free unrestrained gun ownership but have anything against dogs...

You're not for free unregulated gun ownership?
