    Graceland (series)

Starting tonight this new series debuts on USA network at 10pm eastern.

    http://www.usanetwork.com/graceland?...aceland_TuneIn

Takes place in Southern California (yay), agents working undercover, living in a beach house as roommates. Surfing, action, suspense, plus the two main leads look pretty hot...
    Has some promise.

I missed it, so I'll have to watch it later.

I already have high hopes for this show, but I always have high expectations for USA originals. USA is one of my favorite networks and never lets me down.

I must admit, I am really liking this show. I didn't know how I would feel about it, but I decided to give it a shot. Really strong first episode. It has a different feel from the rest of the shows on USA. A bit darker, edgier--which I know is what they were going for. I'm just saying that I thought they pulled it off. I'm looking forward to the rest of the season.

Yeah with the exception of a small sprinkling of cheese, this first episode was pretty good, was impressed.
Can see there is plenty of room or some really good character development, plenty of story lines and the cast seems to have some pretty good chemistry. (always a good sign of a successful, long-lasting series)

    Yay!

Episode 2 was really good. I love the subtlety and nuance, how they try to fuck with your head.
Quite satisfied with this show so far.

I'm really enjoying the show so far. The premier had a good amount of character development and we really get a good sense of how Graceland works. Their lies become their lives and we already find out that Mike's time there will not be pleasant at all. He's already developing a relationship with everyone, yet will have to betray everyone, especially Briggs, with the reveal of his true assignment.

I liked the second episode as well. We already find Briggs suspecting Mike about why he's in Graceland and what he's doing in the season premier, but I was surprised to see that he Briggs confronted him about his suspicions so early in the show. But I'm still hooked on how that storyline will develop and how it will eventually be resolved.

As predicted, USA network has brought us another great show. But I did see commercials for the network's premiers of a few new reality shows? I'm not really a big fan of those, so I'm a little disappointed. Oh well

Did enjoy watching this show even thought it bumped White Collar off the scedule.

^I'm sure the ratings may have also contributed to White Collar being bumped.

I suspect down the road Mike will side with Briggs for the good of the Graceland team and not rat him out if there is anything to rat Briggs out about in the first place. He will be loyal to his new 'family'.

There has been no news of the shows renewal or cancellation as of yet, but here is a brief analysis of ratings and comparisons to other shows on the network:

The opening night number of 3.31 million viewers was not impressive by USA’s standards but not a fizzle, either. And the 10 p.m. drama had some tough competish from end of Game 1 of the NBA Finals on ABC, which proved a nailbiter between the Miami Heat and San Antonio Spurs.

USA noted that “Graceland’s” bow was not too far off the average aud delivered by “Suits” (3.47 million) in the same time slot this time last year. Frosh drama “Common Law” opened in May 2012 to 2.47 million viewers and was not renewed for a second season.

Of course, this is just the season premier.

Ratings have been steady, but the number of viewers decreased to 2.33 million since the last episode (ep 4), which was actually an increase from episode 3. Between ep 1 and ep 2, the show suffered a -16% change in the number of viewers.

Compared to common law, Graceland is doing just about the same. Ep 4 of Common Law racked in 2.31 million views and suffered decreases leading to less than 2 million viewers per episode for most of the following episodes. Common Law wasn't cancelled until months after the season finale, even with less than 2 million viewers.

So far, Graceland is virtually going on the same path as Common Law. If it continues to do so within the next 3 episodes or so, I'd expect a cancellation.

Well can't seem to find any news on if this show has been renewed. Other than it's in the top 10 of most watched summer shows and has fairly decent ratings.

The last few episodes have been revealing and a bit of a mess.
So much tension among the characters....they all need to get naked and have an orgy.

Season finale is scheduled for Sept 12.
