What romance novels would I like if...

I really liked Shelter, Beautiful Thing, and Weekend?

I think I ran the gay movies out to where all the "good" ones remaining are 'meh' at best, so I figured I might give romance novels a try (except I know nothing about the good ones). Just wonderin' if y'all had suggestions.

Also do I put this here? I mean it sorta seems like I'd put this here. You know, unless books are so outdated that they count as a fetish now

I ended up ordering Zero at the Bone and Devils and Tigers. I couldn't seem to find Front Runner :l

I was gonna get one titled "Bareback," but I figured some people would take that the wrong way #Republicans.

I would like a romance novel to be like the LA Complex television show with the Tariq and Kal storyline. The closest gay novel I can think of that's similar to Tariq and Kal is James Early Hardy's classic gay novel B Boys Blues which was published in 1994.

This was the first novel I bought when Steve passed away. It comforted me reading about someone that went through what I did. Although with me, it was a sudden end as oppose to his which was drawn out.
