Yes in first grade. We had those double desks back then and the girl next to me Jennifer coerced me into it. We both got a spanking....not for eating paste but for disobeying the teacher when she told us to stop. That is back then when the school could do that type thing.
Only government can take perfectly good paper, cover it with perfectly good ink and make the combination worthless.
I did indeed. still have the odd nibble when i can get my hands on the stuff.
I think I tried it once, didn't like it tho, tasted BITTER.
I guess sometimes a person can taste so much bitterness, it blocks out everything else? It seems like everything you've eaten in your life has left a bitter taste in your mouth by the responses to the different threads about yummy foods?
^ paste is not a yummy food, still can't say no to it though,
God, the cravings.
I can't remember eating past, but I used to nibble on gum erasers from time to time.
No, but at daycare, we were making sculptures out of plasticine, and one girl started eating it. The daycare worker got mad and stuffed a whole bunch of it in her mouth... Looking back, I'm actually a little bit shocked.
I tried the mint once when i was 6. Pretty grossed up and never after.
...the last time I ate poi in Hawaii I was pretty sure it was just paste with an exotic name.
No, I don't remember ever eating paste, although it is possible that I did and just don't remember.
(Its too obvious to post a photo of Ralph)
Can't you fuck yourself up from doing that? Or is that just glue?
A long time ago, paste tasted like a minty something.
Not that I want to eat it now, but I would love to have some paste, it's fun!
I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it.
Eating paste? wtf? NO.
No, but now that I think about it, didn't paste often have a nice smell to it?
When I was a kid, though, I remember the sparkly Kid's Crest toothpaste tasted really good in my mouth, but I did not, um, swallow it.
I remember it smelling nice and minty fresh...can't say I stuck it in my mouth though.
I used to like the smell of white-out....before I heard/read that it can permanently fuck you up.
Nope. never did eat it.
I vividly remember the look and smell of it though.
It used to come in a big semi-transparent plastic container with an elephant on the label. I think it was made by the Sanford company.

I’ve never eaten paste, but I've had some pasta............
Oh yes, In first and second grade school.
you'd buy a jar of paste and the first thing you would do is eat a little of it.
One time, at band camp............
This thread is special
I tried it once, and it was by means of convenience. I was in Kindergarten, and we were doing something that required the infamous Elmer's Glue; you know, the classic white goop that was a pain in the ass to get out of the bottle if some had dried on the orange top. I managed to get some on my fingers, like I still do to this day, and instead of wiping my hands on my pants, I licked my finger to get rid of the glue. It tasted pretty bad, so I never did it again.
I used to have a bad habit of chewing on the pocket holder pieces of pen caps, though. I'd chew them until they twisted off the cap, and end up stabbing my damn gums on the sharp plastic edges. I'm surprised I didn't swallow one at some point and choke to death.
I didn't eat it but I sure did play with it. Let it dry on my hands. Made glue balls. Basically everything every other kid did.
It took reading this whole thread to finally realise that you were all talking about glue.
Paste for me is something made from meat or seafood which you spread on bread and eat at tea-time. Crab paste was one of my childhood favourites.
