I thought that there was a blip in JUB but I guess there is no blip. A very concerned Jubber just notified me of Huntneo's deletion.

Please post a reason as to why you would miss the HELL out of Huntneo. Maybe he will see it.

Ill go first: He always made me laugh and had a sweetness about him. We could use more of that around here.

Agreed, he does have the right to leave or stay and I will respect that. Doesn't mean I can't feel sad that he's not here.

Just seems drastic to completely delete, it is possible to just become inactive or just lurk and not participate. It's quite a history (of posts and threads, comments, PMs, friends etc) to lose by deleting.

I was getting the sense also that he was ready to take a break, I wasn't expecting this though. If I'm assuming correctly, his reasons are completely understandable. I will miss him, was just getting to know him as well as others here.

He was very positive and optimistic, enthusiastic, sweet, caring, thoughtful, funny. He was the only other DS fan that I have just stumbled across by accident in a loooong time. Crap, I am really going to miss him.

I'm definitely going to miss Huntneo! Ever since he messaged me back in August 2010, I could see what a sweet guy he was. We've become closer and he's really been a rock to help me through some tough times.

I will definitely miss him and I'm definitely glad to have gotten to know him through here. JUB won't be the same without him.

Huntneo already knows who his friends are, although the campaign to remind him of it is doubtless appreciated, as we all need to hear it from time to time.

But, I applaud his departure, and would think it is indicative of several of us who have deleted for similar reasons. My return from the other side may not be permanent either, as JUB is too much a shitfest and there are enough bitter souls here to make it much less appealing than before.

And I agree with Bess -- the moderation has lurched a bit and there are instances of favoritism and bias.

Hunty I hope will return. if anthing with a fresh set of eyes and the same deep sense of support for the other jubber. he is a good man and was tired of being maligned everytime he walked into a thread.

Another impression is that people now are exclaiming "JUB has never been like this" but I have seen posters come and go and I have seen the clique wars come and go...

If he's not enjoying the site anymore, I don't think it is fair to ask him to come back if he doesn't enjoy it. He's a great guy and I wish him all the best. I'd be thrilled if he came back but if he's moved on, he's moved on.

Recently a group of friends and I lost our big toe. He just left. The fighting and derision had gotten to be too much for him. We all know he is a warm-hearted, go-lucky kind of guy. People couldn't stop wetting their diapers and then throwing it at each other. So our big toe just up and left. I can't say things will change all that much but I can say it is a whole lot worse without you. I know he needs to love on us just as much as we need his kindness and warmth.

So could you play a song for our missing big toe going out to a man who has given much to so many. Let him know that John from Kansas wants you to know your missed and its time to come home.....

Him and I had a love-hate relationship. I chalk it up to "cultural differences" and I don't even mean black vs white but north vs south. I'm a 'hardened' northerner and he truly is a 'Southern belle'. His sweetness is just something I am not used to being a life-long Bostonian and I feared that people would take advantage of his saccharine heart and I didn't want people to hurt him. Course he assuaged me that he could take care of himself and I believe him.

I am not sure what is troubling him but I hope everything is alright with him.

He was someone interesting to talk to. I could (and did) talk to him about anything and everything.

He laughed at my jokes, no matter how stupid they were.

He left me lots o' comments. I won't lie; it felt good to get feedback, and to know that someone was actually reading my posts.

He had many interesting ideas for threads (merely one example).

He was a heavy contributor to the post your voice thread. He kept it alive with frequent updates, which also motivated others to post their voices. I'm going to miss hearing his voice.

Sometimes people just need a cooling off period and self delete. Some people come back after awhile, others don't. I hope he does decide to come back, but if he doesn't then I wish him well.

I'm truly saddened that he chose to leave. I met him through some mutual friends and we IM'd a while ago. He is a great person. I enjoyed his comments and he often made me laugh. I do have to say I don't blame him. I'm very close to leaving myself and I know of 2 other members that have been here a long time that are closer leaving than I am. JUB has gotten to the point where almost every thread turns into a bitch fest or cat fight. It's usually the same people causing trouble and nothing is really done about it. They ride the edge of the COC or are given extreme leeway. It's tiring and JUB is going to lose more good members. Definitely not the JUB I remember joining.
