    Family Vacation Ideas

I decided I want to take my family on a summer vacation, but I don’t know where or what to do. Do you have any ideas?

There is a total of eight of us, four adults and four kids; ages 14, 8, 7, and 5. The 7 year old is autistic and two of the adults are mobility impaired.

We live in Oregon and as of now my only idea is going to the beach, but we do that all the time anyways. I would like something new. Also we just got back from Disneyland so that is out.

Any ideas on where to go or what to do would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

I really think you should try Cape Cod. It is totally unbiased, I have no interest what so ever.....

Camping? You got traditional or cabin if you need the luxuries of civilization.
I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it.

Oregon? You should visit that famous munchkin family from TLC that sell pumpkins. Also they must have some state fairs around which is a decent family trip.

+1 for Yellowstone in the summer time.

I heard Great Wolf Lodge (water park lodge in Grand Mound, WA) is a great place for families as well.

Our state fair takes place about five miles from where I am typing this. That's not much of a trip. Good idea though.
