My thoughts on gay marriage (VIDEO)

So like everyone else my Facebook newsfeed was full of stuff on the SCOTUS hearing gay rights cases. So I figured that I should upload a video I made a couple weeks ago. It's a libertarian response. Hopefully you will enjoy it.

Please share it if you like it or even if you don't!!!

I think it raises an interesting perspective.

    Enjoy!

I was under the impression that our Neocon brothers and sisters were in favor of smaller government?

I don't think the OP understands the repercussions that often happen when a unrecognized long term relationship ends due to death and the family comes marching in to probate or other courts and appeal even a legally written will and properly worded/prepared mortgage on shared property of the gay couple. Which could turn out where the surviving partner is without a roof over the head or has to move and only collect half of the property sales value due to sharing it with the family, who had nothing invested. At best it will cost the surviving partner a lot of money should a will be contested, a lot of money. And the surviving partner can't even collect the $255 death benefit to help bury their loved one because only a legally recognized spouse of a married man and woman gets that.

A straight married partner is protected even if one partner is killed / dies on the way to their honeymoon, it is very difficult for a family member to contest the rights of survival in these cases.
And if you think that's a obscure example you are wrong. It happens every day of every week.
I know because I am not unique and it sure as shit happened to me.
No need to go over the other 1,000 or so benefits.
If the OP thinks the straight married people or couples will ever give up those government benefits/protections and the legal terms with it... wrong, and why should they?

Wake up Alice this ain't wonderland.

That we are capable only of being what we are, remains our unforgivable sin.
