Non-porn, non-sexual 'live' webcam sites ... are they pointless?

There are a couple of webcam sites that have been around for years, both boasting that they have the "hottest male models and camguys on the net," yet stating that their sites are "non-pornographic" and that they "do not allow the models to get nude." In other words, the guys can do no more than pose and flex in their pvt chats, for which you can fork out anything up to $10-$12 a minute. One site is TheCamGuys and the other consists of several sites within the GuysWithCams network, all featuring the same models but in differently designed sites (ie: Cam With Him, claiming to be the "No. 1 Cam Guy Site on the net," Hot Cam Guys, Non Nude Cams, etc., with one exception in Nude Adult Cams where the guys can take their undies off if they wish.)

So I was just wondering if there's much demand for such sites nowadays, particularly in view of the rates being charged. These seem a bit high just for watching guys flexing when you can see more action for less money on loads of other sites, with guys every bit as hot as those on these non-porn ones. Also, you can't actually see any videos in these sites unless you register and buy credits, unlike loads of other sites where you can simply pop in as a 'guest' and check the guy out first ... ... Any thoughts? ...
