I think the GOP's (minus McCain) silence on the Syrian WMD usage today shows you how much partisan bullshit and pure evils fills the heart of a good portion of our society. We found no WMD's in Iraq and the chickenhawks never wanted that war to end and now we hear that the Syrian dictator used these weapons against innocent Syrians and you can't get a peep out of them.
Thank god these assholes are getting outnumbered election after election. It's easy to forget, but out of the last six presidential races, the GOP has won only one by popular vote.
They always say that we should let history judge the mistake of Iraq. Yes, after they're dead we can then make a final assessment on their bullshit. Well, 10 years after Iraq and the war was just as wrong as it was back in 2003.
Good riddance to the bullshit ideas.
Jesus must have a sense of humor: chickenhawks from the GOP went searching for WMD's in Iraq, killing scores of Americans and Iraqis in the process, and the real WMD threat was next door in Syria and they have NOTHING to say. They're NOWHERE to be found.

How about we take patriotism out of the equation alltogether? In my view, one of the most destructive trends in politics is the ease with which people accuse those who disagree as "unpatriotic." It's just a self-serving ad hominem.

The war criminal Bush and his cronies are still free buying up parcels of land in countries without extradition treaties. The United States needs to agree to the ICC so war criminals can be charged. Charles Taylor and various other war criminals were charged, so Bush must be held accountable.
As far as this inconsistency, what to expect from the chickenhawks? They will only defend anything anyone with an "R" next to their name does... these chickenhawks destroyed the reputations of various people who opposed this illegal criminal war against the innocent people of Iraq. They engaged in McCarthyism (and some engage in this same sort of red herring on this forum)... people like Cindy Sheehan and the Dixie Chicks had their lives ruined because of the lies.
Some of these chickenhawks have even gone as far as defending Assad.
