Is he the last survivor of that show? Great show, btw.
Everyone wants to be heard. No one wants to listen.
RIP to him
Ugh!
So sad. He was and will always be loved and admired. RIP.

How very sad. Frank and all the others brought me and many others hours and hours and years and years of laughs and happy times. I believe Nicholas Smith is the last remaining original cast member.
Thank you, Frank. Job done.
Very sad news indeed. Latterly, I'd enjoyed him in Last of the Summer Wine.

According to the obit, only the actor who played Mr. Rumbold is alive. Classic brit-com still watch it after all these years and still laugh at the slapstick and silly jokes.
What a wonderful actor he was! RIP, Mr. Thornton!
RIP Captain Peacock...I was addicted to Are You Being Served...he was perfect as the straight man opposite Mrs Slocombe and her pussy
Wonderful comedic talent with perfect deadpan delivery. Here's to ya, Capt.!
Thanks for the laughs.

One of my all time favorites. I'll bet an angel said "are you free captian Peacock"? Is Trevor Bannister dead as well?
My condolences to his family and friends.
He was a wonderful character actor and I loved him in Are You Being Served. Almost all of the leading characters from that series have passed on now .... very sad.I loved that show and have a DVD set of every series that was made. RIP Captain Peacock.
In memorium ...
