Ma'lik knows as a black man, who is dark skinned (Yes I went there, bye) AND is a sex offender his dreams have been shattered and the pieces swiftly thrown in the garbage.
Just let that sink in.
That white boy was unbothered as phuk. We will see how far that laid back attitude (And that accent ) gets him when he gets locked up.
So many good points:
Right, these are amazing students, all the while they believe it's alright to brutally rape (It was brutal) a 16 year old girl, in a group, and celebrate it.
Black one have an existential break down in court, I wonder if he was sobbing that much when the seemingly "Dead" girl was getting assaulted by his "buddies" on the team.
They'll go through life having to register as sex offenders, which is worse than prison itself.

There are two acronyms straight people have to live by in Prison.
For Males: G.U.R.D.*
For Females: L.U.R.D.*
Frankly, you do not have a choice, so you might as well be a willing participant.
....and yes, this also applies to Juvenile facilities.

You need to reevaluate your moral code. And look up the definition of sexual assault.

Supposedly everyone was granted immunity for details to nail these two boys
Every adult who tried to cover this up should be charged with conspiracy.
I want to say "They can seethe, but them boiz going to JAIL"
but this poor girl not only got assaulted but has to deal with this now too? Sad
Especially Mike Nodianos, the vile guy making jokes in the video. The way he was so amused and impressed with himself...
So infuriating. I can't.
I have no idea why rape, there is no one to give you sex without force, or is the force the turn-on.
Just one year?!
I don't know how you guys do it in the US but here if you rape someone and a minor which is even WORST! you get sentenced for at least 20 years!
Its called digital rape. Its rape, sexual assault and they should be punished.
I don't know how anyone here can defend these disgusting little monsters with no 'basic human deceny'.
Who knows what they would have done in college. If they think that they can treat girls like blow up toys in high school, who knows what their adulthood would bring. They strike me as the escalating type.
This reminds me of the Glen Ridge rape. Asshole football players gang raped a mentally challenged girl, filmed it and planned on doing it again. No remorse and they too thought that they were above the law. Then their little NJ town defended them too, 'those poor boys, their lives will never be the same'.. After their pathetic little trial, one of the guys went to college and was accused of raping a girl there.
Its like nothing has changed. People have to teach their sons to respect their female counterparts and have the deceny to speak up when they see something wrong.
Fuck them, fuck these guys from Ohio. I hope that they have a nightmarish time in the detention center.

Watch this interview. Look at this football star's attitude about girls.
Last edited by animalius; March 18th, 2013 at 06:56 AM.
And it's not just these girls. Women want to be with them. Men want to be them. Their parents practically tell them to go out there and grab whatever they can.
We are a culture that promotes these kinds of behaviors from our celebrities. What did you really expect a couple of airhead football players do?
That's why I asked the question earlier. What's so appealing about having sex with and penetrating a dead body? Yes, a sufficiently drunk person is little better than a dead body. I've dealt with them before. What's worse, what's so appealing about having sex with and penetrating a dead body and then showing off to people with pictures and videos afterward?
For me, it's not something that one should be particularly proud of. If it had been me inventing the next printing press or lifting up a car to save a whole family inside, then yeah I'd probably want those videos and photos being passed around. But having sex with a dead body?
The only explanation I can come up with of why these boys were so proud of what they did was that society around them was telling them it was something to be proud of. It wasn't until the law got involved that all of the sudden they didn't really mean to do it.
I know I sound like a sexist right now, and that's fine if that's what you want to think. I don't care about political correctness. And no, I'm not blaming the victims either. I'm telling you now. These sort of behaviors exist because we as society encourage them in our boys. Coupled that with the lack of respect for our girls.
Just go to any high school or college football game to see what I mean.

I am reminded of the high profile gang rape cases that's been popping up in India.
People over there are outraged and asking why these things happen. Um, excuse me? What did you expect when you decided to create a society that puts women and girls at the bottom of the food chain? The crowds of people in India who protested, how many of them will go home and tell their girls they are not as important as their brothers through actions?
I grew up in a culture that doesn't particularly value women's rights, let alone the gheys'. Growing up, my father lectured me over and over that women are not to be respected, women are incapable of making sound decisions, women are this, women are that. Last I checked, my home country has a particularly high rate of rape and other violence towards women. What's worse, rape victims there are to be blamed rather than the rapists. So, when a girl is raped and the news gets out, people around her would tell her she has shamed her entire family.
And then people there question why girls and women are raped...

Back in high school, I was really good friend with this girl who was one of the top cheerleaders. You regularly saw her do routines at football games. She was popular, attractive, etc. And then one day all of the sudden she quit. This came as a shock to everyone, including me. She really spent a lot of time with it. So, I asked her why she decided to quit it. She told me it was a waste of time.
I didn't really get it until years after when I was reminded of it. Then all of the sudden it came to me what she meant.
Try to take a guess what she meant and why she quit cheerleading.
Again, she said it was a waste of time.
Now, think back to what I said before. Go to any high school or college football game. What do you see? The heros (boys) are out doing battle and winning the day while the damsels are cheering them and waiting to be picked up.
That's the message I was trying to convey. We are a culture that put the boys on a pedestal and we tell our girls they are only worthy if they cheer for the boys.
Added by edit.
By the way, she graduated among the top 10 of the class. Not top 10%. Literally top 10.
Yeah those 2 player aren't very smart. Need to think before you do! haha
So, Latimer, it's ok to violate another person while they are drunk into oblivion as long as they don't use their penis? A finger is acceptable? How about a broom handle? What if no penetration was involved but the victim was pissed on or ejaculated on?
These boys lives are ruined because of their own actions. Not just rape, but any criminal conviction is a record that follows you for life. When you apply for a job or a mortgage or to rent an apartment, you will be asked about a criminal record.
Everyone wants to be heard. No one wants to listen.
I expected other guys and girls at the party with sisters, mothers, aunts to say something to these people.
We live in a sexist society, high school creates a dangerous hierarchy but that does not remove people's sense of right and wrong.
I know that young athletes are put on pedestals and are treated like Gods in HS. This atmosphere can create a number of issues.
You're adding to that problem.

In the UK especially there is a problem with professional football players thinking they are above the law and are owed the fawning respect of everyone just because they are overpaid sportsmen. They tend to have scant respect for all women and especially those they date/marry. Most of the WAGs (wives and girlfriends) go into relationships with them with their eyes wide open. In return for being kept in unbridled splendour they turn a blind eye to many of the extra curricular dalliances. Witness Colleen Rooney's forgiving Wayne for wasting his wages on a 65 yr old hooker!
Let us also remember Oscar. Part of his downfall will, no doubt, be exposed as being due to his unbridled arrogance
There is some hero worship of sporting teams in Public School, but they tend to be single sex so the whole impressing the girls thing is irrelevant.
Perhaps. That is a good question.
Its idiotic, really. They are just children, but students, faculty and even upper level administrators revere young male athletes, mainly because athletic achievement brings money and a name to the schools and districts. This goes double for small American towns, which dont have much else to claim. There are numerous cases of athletes commiting heinous crimes and are then protected by the adults who stand to benefit from their success.
When I was in high school, a lot of the teachers diverted back to a high school mindset, gushing over athletes. They were given special treatment and I suspect subject to inapporpriate affection.

So if a gay guy played with a straight guys penis while he is drunk or asleep should they be listed as a sex offender for life?
Just saying. I've read stories on here that have detailed situations someone similarly but if it's a hot straight guy it seems to be okay to cross the line for some people.
There was a case someone mentioned in this thread that was somewhat similar. I'm just saying there shouldn't be a double standard.
Americans need to keep their guns so they can protect themselves from gun violence just like Nancy Lanza did. And like Chris Kyle did. And like Gabby Giffords did. And like Tom Clements did. And like Michael Piemonte.
Yeah, times change, and what's appropriate also changes, but I'd say we haven't reached the point where fingering is just a matter of course.

I see what's wrong and I point it out. I don't like sugar coating things. And I'll tell you right now, you can't expect women and girls to be treated equally with men if you continue to support femininity and other male-benefited cultural ideas.
Again, it's hard to change people's misogynistic attitudes if you focus on the language that we use rather than the culture that is keeping women down. Reminds me of the idiot who kept getting bad grades back in school and always became upset when he was told he wasn't studying hard enough. Sure, you could sugar coat it and mother him or you could get him to face reality.
That's what I'm seeing now. I see a culture where we as a society encourage these girls to throw themselves at these football stars. I see a culture where we practically tell these football stars that they could get away with anything. But god forbids if someone like me comes along and point out that these girls are literally throwing themselves at these jocks, thus telling these jocks to objectify the girls.
The only thing political correctness does is impede progress.
And why are you arguing with a misogynistic gay man on a gay forum anyway? Shouldn't you be somewhere else where the guys absolutely love you and tell you all you're good for is cheerleading and be a good housewife and they'll give you a diamond ring?

Ever heard of an onion? It's got layers, just like me. I'm not a fan of women in certain respects. Isn't most things in life?
You seem to have an oversimplified view of people. Take a couple of words out of context from what they said and voila you understand that person completely!
The Onion -as usual - satirizes the fuck out of the whole sordid mess.

CNN criticized for Steubenville verdict coverage
^ A mess. I'm glad people are taking CNN to task for their piss poor coverage of the sentencing. And it just makes it even more fucked up that it was two women (Poppy Harlow and Candice Crowley) who were at the center of it. It just goes to show how both men and women internalize rape culture, normalizing rape to the extent that even the perpetrators are often seen as victims of their 'urges' who deserve our sympathy.
It's just depressing to imagine the victim being exposed to such shitty coverage essentially telling her that she's responsible for ruining lives.
You guys need to turn on CNN RIGHT NOW
They are going IN on the black boy's lawyer who is on CNN with Piers Morgan.
I WILL be posting receipts tomorrow when the video is up. This is TOO good. They are dragging him to the PITS. They are being SO shady. Even the accused's rapists lawyer is shading.
I can't believe I'm seeing this right now.
OMFG this is going to go viral
The Lawyer said the following: His client shouldn't be labeled a Sex Offender, brought up having to tell his grandkids about it when he is 70, he ALSO dragged the other guest when he had the balls to say "He is just 16 and his brain is developing" when Piers said his own sons know at the age of 16 you don't rape someone the lawyer replied "I don't think the majority would agree with you"
Now the DRAG part was when this guest who I guess was an adult porn star that had something happen to her the lawyer brought up her past trying to compare doing porn to raping a 16 year old girl by saying neither should be judged for their past.
They better upload this by midnight so I can spill tea.

Monique Matipa @HoneyJewel9
@piersmorgan it's amazing how people can justify raping someone!! I'm appalled by that lawyer!!! What if that young girl was his daughter!!
Heather Archuletta @Pillownaut
Piers Morgan has been strongest victim advocate I've yet seen -- slaps-down the vile, mouthy attorney! Enough of this vulgar
Lana Coffey @lanacoffey
@thetracilords you rocked on piers Morgan. God bless you for standing up against that idiot attorney. You're amazing.
@piersmorgan Thanks 4 standing ur ground W/that attorney.@ thanks for having @GloriaAllred on.Malik was found guilty. That's why he cried.

Anderson just confirmed that there could be MORE prosecutions of witnesses and parents (trying to cover it up)
My previous statement that they had immunity is clearly false.
Two girls who were sending those exact death threats that ThatGirl posted are in custody right now and will be in court tomorrow to hear their charges. The police snatched up their asses with the quickness.

This thread's getting confused. Who are we supposed to be hating most?
1. CNN TV?
2. Jay Queer?
3. The Digital Rapists?
^ I was merely suggesting we keep things in perspective before we get the tar and feathers
No, you were just being limp derailer as usual. Now we can add you to the list too ^_^

I have been waiting all fucking day and all I have is this snippet.

This clip however short, is still good.
