I'd like you to help me see clearer about my life...

I have a crush on a special, fantastic, clever, beautiful boy. The problem is that I'm sure he is straight
Well, now I'm in doubt... Is it better to forget this fellow or to try to make him fall in love with me? I think he likes me, but just like a friend (better than nothing)
I really love him, in spite of the difference between us!!

If he's straight then there's nothing you can do so I would say it's better to forget this fellow.

well given that you have already dealt with the possibility of separating completely from him , I would suggest you be totallly direct and tell him exactly that you would like to have a different sort of relationship with him . You cannot know with any degree of certainty whether or not he's gay and if he is totally that is not the slightest reason to think to think he is interested in you . And finding someone attractive is the hugest compliment , Unrequited lust is a very good basis for a friendship - you will be both honest and complimentary . And I would suggest a good albeit sexless friendship is a very rare thing .

So is this 'special, fantastic, clever, beautiful boy' aware that his good friend (=you) is a gay guy? I agree with csb999 that you should be direct and open to him. So tell him at least that you are gay. Why do you have doubts that he might not be straight? What's your age? What's his age?

It's a fantasy. You can do nothing to make him fall for you if he is straight. You can conquer the world, pluck a star from the sky and cure cancer, and he would still never be able to fall for you.

Move on. Do not obsess.
