Like the title says, when I log in there are threads that are marked as read when I've not seen them before. When I click thebutton to go to the first unread post, it skips past many posts that I have not seen before. Apparently it thinks I've read those posts. Why is this?

I find that if I've visited any forum before logging in, then logged in, all the threads are read that date from when I last interacted with it.

I have dealt with this same frustration ever since the forum software was last majorly upgraded.
