Re: Actress Bonnie Franklin (One Day At A Time) dies

Very sad. I remember watching One Day at A Time a lot when I was younger. 69 is way to young
I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it.

Re: Actress Bonnie Franklin (One Day At A Time) dies

    I am truly saddened.

"One Day at a Time" was my favorite television sitcom for most of the years that it was on. I think it lost focus during the very last season.

I loved watching Bonnie play "Ann Romano," the gutsy divorcee and single mom. And I also loved watching Mackenzie Phillipa and Valerie Bertinelli grow up on the show.

Pat Harrington was a stitch as "Schneider" too!

    Good memories.....

    Rest in peace, Bonnie..........

    R.I.P. Bonnie Franklin

Bonnie Franklin, star of TV's "One Day at a Time," died Friday at her home in Los Angeles, suffering complications from the pancreatic cancer she had revealed in September. The actress was 69.

Later Friday, her sitcom daughters shared their thoughts online.

Valerie Bertinelli, who played the younger of divorced mom Ann Romano's kids on the long-running show, said simply on Twitter, "My heart is breaking." She included a snapshot of herself with Franklin.
