Florida Man is Shot by His Dog
A 35 yr. old Florida man was shot last weekend when his dog "kicked" an "unloaded .380 pistol" on the floor of his truck. The man, Gregory Dale Lanier, was driving the truck at the time, and was shot in the leg.
Lanier was surprised to learn that, not only was the gun loaded, but that it had somehow been transformed into a 9 mm automatic.
The dog - probably a terrier - was not arrested, since it was just "standing his ground" under Florida law.

Guns don't kill people, family pets do.

If only he had had a gun on his person, his dog would never have shot him.

.38 pistol becomes a 9mm automatic? Hallelujah! It's a miracle, praise the dog!

There is no substitute
Re: Florida Man is Shot by His Dog
The man was wearing a hoodie so he deserved to be shot. The dog didn't get his Liver Snap. I don't blame him.
This 35 year old is a perfect example of someone who shouldn't own a gun...... lies about what kind it was and didn't know if it was loaded or not.

Sounds like something Carl Hiaasen would write about
I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it.

.
I would punish the dog severely for being such a lousy shot.
Don't cast aspersions on my asperagus.
