    Anyone looking forward to Jack the Giant Slayer? It looks decent to me and has the very cute Nicholas Hoult.

    I love Nicholas Hoult.
    But I'm not huge on the director (Bryan Singer).
    The special effects in the previews look a mixed bag.
    I think it's possible the movie ends up decent, but I'm not exactly hopeful.

    ^ I don't think he's done anything good since The Usual Suspects and Apt Pupil. His two X-Men movies bored the hell out of me, Superman Returns was even more unspectacular, and Valkyrie...meh.

    He should stay away from big budgets and/or Tom Cruise.

    ^ The lastest of his I have seen was the X-men movies. I have heard his other newer stuff sucks though.

    I did enjoy it very much, maybe I just expected more because of anticipation. But it was very action packed, it seems like they tried to get Lord of the Rings with it to me, didn't stick to the fable.

    My only real complaint was Ewan McGregor's hair, how was it so perfectly quaffed and highlighted? That didn't make sense.
