My point was regarding any porn star that looked familiar. Perhaps if you worded it differently - someone I'd never seen before, and later found out he was a porn star, how would I react???

I would more then likely be turned off by it at first... but it depends on the person. If he gave up that part of his life in his distant past and truly liked me and I him, I would seriously consider giving him a shot.

For me, there's very few unique guys in porn. That goes across all genres too. You have your twinks, your tattooed muscleheads with trendy haircuts and about 75% of them having floppy dicks, your bears who have a pawprint tattoo and have a beard/are balding.

If I found out they did porn, I wouldn't pursue anything serious and possibly nothing more than a one night stand. If you do well in a shallow profession, you're bound to be atleast a little bit shallow yourself.

I didn't change my premise in any moment. All I said in the OP is that he's a porn actor (not a star necessarily, but he might be, the pic is only a illustration), and I certainly didnt mention anything about shoulds on shouldnt's and rejection, it's everybodies personal decision.

Unless you remember (almost) every guy form any porn clip you have seen, than ok. I dont remember all of them, but it is possible to me that he seems familiar, without realizing where exactly I have seen him.

As I have said, he doesn't have to be the guy in the picture, or anyone like him physycally. It's just an illustration of a porn actor. I never said he represents my whole taste of men. The OP said that it's the guy you find hot, not me necessarily.

Who is "us"? It's funny when someone gives himself the permission to speak in behalf of all the others. Other posters didnt understand the question like you did, and they actually answered to it. On the other hand, if the guy in your avatar is your taste, then it's not true that your taste in men is nowhere near mine, like you claimed, because he is my taste.

If I was a fan, and the date was going well - as in I can connect on a mental level - I would certainly hope things would progress from the date to the bedroom. My usual safe-sex precautions would of course prevail.

I'll admit I would be concerned about the long-term prospects after that, though, for reasons which don't actually make sense even to me. It's an illogical prejudice I cannot seem to shake.

If I found I liked him as a person, I'd have no problem with it. Porn in general is a legal living, and at least he had the sense to use his natural attributes to his advantage.
