For me, it's dishes. I hate doing dishes. If I didn't care so much about the environment I'd use disposable plates and cups exclusively.
How about you?

Ironing. Hate it.
Warwickshire Born 'n' Bred.
Without a doubt, it's laundry.
I don't have a washer and dryer (NYC apartments generally don't), so doing laundry means committing hours of my time in the apt which I simply do not wish to do. It's obnoxious carrying laundry down flights of stairs, waiting around for the cycle, etc. I can't.
I recently told myself that if I go out one less night a month, that easily takes care of my drop-off funds. So that's the plan.
It is cleaning up outside when people drive down the street and dispose of old food containers and plastic bags from wherever.
It makes me quite angry to realize how little regard some people have for others.

Doing the massive full-press clean of the bathroom. I don't mind cleaning the tub or shower or sinks, or even a quick toilet scrub. But doing the full-on, pull-everything-out-and-scrub-everything-down is always my least favorite activity on cleaning day.

cleaning the tub
Ironing, fucking hate it.

between that, cleaning the stairs and the bathroom. i hate doing chores.

I have an iPod dock on the counter next to the kitchen sink. Whenever it's time to do dishes, I just plug it in and crank it up. The only time I really dislike doing dishes is on Thanksgiving, because it can be a three-hour chore. Once I was up until 2am doing dishes.

Cleaning the bathroom.
Hoovering and cleaning dust away ... bleh
Washing the bathroom especially unclogging the sink. Ergh all these long swirly hairs! Mine are short so most of the are not from me. I need to consider finding guy housemates but somehow always ended with female ones.
Dusting. I hate dust....and I hate to get rid of it even more.
Mopping the kitchen floor, although only by a short head. I hate all household chores!
Me too Ashy, fucking hate washing dishes!

surprised I'm the only one saying this, but cleaning the stovetop.
I've got cleaning the bathroom down to a science. I can get that room spotless in the time it takes the water to heat up for my shower in the morning... but whenever it's time to clean the stove, it always feels like hours of scrubbing to get all the grease off. and forget it if I've cooked bacon.

I despise cleaning the bathroom. It is an every day job.
I would be very happy never to see another bottle of Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, or to scrub soap scum from the shower....

I'd have to say cleaning the bathroom is the worst, because I can't find a device that makes it faster or easier.
For dishes, I got a dish washer.
For laundry, I got a washer and drier, that I never use. I jusy send it out to be cleaned and pressed.
But the bathroom is a different thing. I've fallen for every gimmic on TV, and it allways comes down to manual labor...![]()
I don't like doing dishes. I think it's because standing at the sink hurts my back. I also dislike vacuuming.

the bathroom isn't too bad if you just do one thing/day and don't let it get too extreme
in the morning, I usually turn on the shower and then clean one thing while I'm waiting for the water to heat up (scrub the toilet bowl, wash the outside, clean the sink, etc)... except washing the floor. my bathroom is off my kitchen and both floors are tiled, so it only makes sense to mop them both at the same time. that's usually a Saturday morning job.

folding laundry, i dont mind putting them in the machine, i get to press buttons for the cycles i need and i enjoy that. Moving them to the dryer, same thing, more buttons, but when it comes to folding them....bleh, it's soooooo repetitive...

Cleaning the bathtub. I have become better at it, but it still annoys me. The chemicals smell, and it's hard to properly wash off the chemicals you've sprayed all over afterwards. Laundry is a close second.

Dusting. Worst thing to do ever. And you never really get rid of it because it's back 10 minutes later.
Apparantly we think somewhat alike. My remodel project for this spring is to put in a new bathroom in my basement, complete with stainless steel commode, wall mounted sink, and a 8x5 shower. The shower surround as well as the walls will be stainless, cut and installed on site. The floor will be 2' x 2' non-slip tiles with a drain in the floor so cleaning will only require a small steam cleaner and everything will be spotless.
Stainless steel shows EVERYTHING though. Unless you wipe it down daily, it will retain all traces of any human touching until such time as you do wipe it down.
Mopping the floors. Our entire ground floor (loo, living room, hallway, dining room, kitchen and garage conversion) areas can be mopped. Its tedious with the sweeping up first, then two rounds of mopping, one with detergent, then rinse.
Cleaning hair/stubble in the bathroom/shower, and trying to dry a dish.
Washing the dishes isn't as bad, I just crank up the hot water.
Oddly enough, I have no chore that I really don't like, including cleaning out five cat litter stations.
In fairness though, we have recently acquired cleaning help, so they help keep us up to the mark with vacuuming and dusting.
I confess that I only iron linen napkins and tablecloths and I love bringing order out of that wrinkled mess. Everything else is washed and dried to be wrinkle free or laundered.
I love washing dishes...there is also something very zen like about it. I do think you have to do all of these things right though...it was how I was taught. I used to hate all those chores as a kid but now at this time of my life, I see them all as some sort of satisfying ritual.
As my attention span is shortened and I become more and more distracted, jobs like polishing all the silver flatware...or washing dishes after a dinner for 16 to 18 by hand become a reassuring reminder that I can still focus enough to achieve an end product that would please my great grandmothers and other highly exacting elders.
The one job I always loved but will not be able to do any more is washing windows. Like the vacuuming, this year I'm going to have to give in and hire people to do these. I still like to do our own laundry even though the cleaning folk would do it and plan to hang on to that as long as possible.
Spring is back....
Ironing drives me crazy. I do one side of a shirt and a fold appears on the other side, so I re do the side, another appears on the back side, and I need 2 hours to do a shirt. I'd prefer dental torture.

Dusting, because it causes me to sneeze non stop and I'm a mess all day. Second would be ironing. I just hate it, have been buying more shirts and pants that don't need to be ironed.
I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it.
Cleaning the bathroom. Again, this goes back to the comment I made last nite about my roomie bitching me out for peeing all over the toilet seat.
^ If you piss all over it...then clean it up. Particularly if you were drunk or stoned when you missed the bowl.
I don't even have an aversion to cleaning the bathroom. Use the right tools, the right cleaners and the right attitude and all it becomes is wiping away the past. I don't even have any big issue with cleaning up the bathrooms after others because it was one of the things I had to do as a weekend job in a hotel when I was in high school.
I couldn't believe it when my sister was giving my brother in law instructions on how to clean a toilet after they had been married for twenty five years.
I truly wanted to slap him.
Spring is back....
Vacuuming. It is a pain in the ass to have to keep unplugging/replugging.
Is out bad that I don't iron anything? O.o
I hate polishing furniture! DX
I wanna know what it'd be like, to find perfection in my pride, to see nothing in the light.
Cleaning the toilets and vacuuming.
Oh I do know how to clean the bathroom it is just my least favorite chore to do.
Doing the floors/carpets.
The main reason I hate doing that is because I have to move ALL the furniture. It's a long and tedious ordeal.
Number two on the list is cleaning my computer/computer desk. I hate it for similar reasons. I have to take everything apart, clean it, then put it all back together again. Annoying.
Cleaning the garage... You just can't polish a turd. You work and work and it still looks like a pile of crap, because it is.
I don't think I have a "least" favorite chore; never really thought of putting them in a "best to worst" list
..I just do them; some are more time consuming than others..like dusting off my 21 shelves of Star wars collectibles, cleaning out the gutters, and the big Spring cleaning
I don't dread doing any of those things, as I can't stand a dirty house
Cleaning the bathroom floor. Just can't stand doing it.
