Hello everyone, I haven't made a topic in awhile so please bear with me. Anyways I had FB for quite awhile and although he means a great deal to me, I kinda am unhappy with the fact I have only one friend. For the most part, I don't care if I only have one friend because he's a true friend. However, I been severely feelings the emptiness on theres since he's been busy with important things for the past few days and hasn't been available to chat with me. Now onto the main problem. I'm a quite guy who doesn't talk much or really enjoys it much. The thing is I sincerely been wanting to at least add two to three more friends on my FB. The thing is I don't really know anyone to send a friend request to and I will feel like a idiot/desperate sending friend request to stangers. A guy with my personality, it's extremely hard for me to really connect with anyone let alone hold my interest and me hold theirs. Furthermore I would like to find friends in my age range 21-25. I don't want to friend someone who is old enough to be my parent. Anyways if anyone on here can suggest someone for me to send a friend request to and that doesn't mind befriending a wallflower/stranger, I would appreciate it. I will at least try to chat with them a half an hour at least once a week. I'm usually very busy. Thanks in advance

You need to go out and meed people in real life and then become FB friends with them, go joins some kind of gay social group.

I tried your first suggestion, but no luck. I'm not looking for only gay friends. I like people who make me feel welcome. None the less thank you for responding Beachguyl

What interests you? Gardening? Baking? Reading? Sports? Anime? Gaming? You can try chatting to folks about what particular thing in common you share.

Me, I'd old enough to be your parent.

To the OP,

I kinda get where you're coming from. I can be rather shy and quiet when meeting strangers for the first time.

Actually, it doesn't matter how many friends you have on facebook. Why don't you start reconnecting with your ex-classmates and friends from elementary,high school or even college on facebook first?

I discover and found many of my ex-classmates and friends from high school, college etc. You can also try adding your cousins,relatives, colleagues etc.

When sending friend request, it will be better if you sent a private message too. This will increase the chances of the person accepting your friend request.

I never did like facebook.. In my opinion myspace is better.
