This year's Survivor Caromoan: Fans vs. Favorites has a great selection of 10 very different men. This thread is for us to discuss the guys on the show -- the guys you love, the guys you think are hot, the guys who turn you off, the guys who you think will survive. The diversity should give all of us someone to really watch, enjoy, fantasize about, and cheer for.

i fell hard (yea, HARD!) for malcolm when he almost survived philippines. love his total look, physically, and the way he approaches the game with confidence, assurance, and cunning. he's definitely 'easy on the eyes' and his body is fit and his hair, which i'm a sucker (yea, SUCKER!) for, is beautiful. (cuz i'm a hair freak, i'm hoping that erik also lasts for a long time.) love to see all the guys drenched, and survivor got off to a great start last night when malcolm, giving everything he had, lost his swim trunks. delicious!

i'm right there with you, spiff. i wonder just how long malcolm will last, though he seemed to do a good job connecting with the right people. but they all know he's very strategic and dangerous -- maybe even more so after the way denise 'stabbed him in the back' in the philippines... hopefully both he and erik will be around for a long time. both are incredibly hot.

When Malcolm stepped out of his helicopter, everyone just scratched their heads an wondered "who the heck is he?". He has an advantage over all the other "favorites".

did anyone else think that brandon appeared to have a very meaty bulge when he received the immunity idol from jeff last night? he was wearing tight, short swim trunks when he approached jeff -- and it sure looked like he definitely was showing something there.

lots of great close-ups of eddie's and reynold's sweet faces, but malcolm and erik were nearly absent from last night's episode. hope to see much more of them in the weeks ahead.

Malcolm is beautiful and probably the best LT choice, but the body doesn't do it for me. He looks like Lurch, but he's an animal. Reynolds is getting better looking by the day and he seems very level headed and intelligent, touch of arrogance, and the beautiful Eddie seems to have run low on protein powder. Gorgeous but losing muscle mass like a rotting seal. Sherri is turing into a player. Shamar needs to go home. He isn't cut out for this at all.

just watched last wednesday's episode of survivor on the internet ... and again it didn't disappoint. we're seeing a lot of reynold and eddie because their tribe keeps losing -- and seeing them is good -- but we aren't really getting to feast on malcolm and erik as much as i would like.

erik is definitely growing on me, and i see what gaystorm is saying. he always looks incredible, and as a guy who enjoys seeing long-haired guys get soaking wet, i'm loving all the water-related challenges. erik looks so sexy when he's competing and drenched.

wow ... the boys continue to satisfy. looks like Malcolm, reynold, eddie, and erik are going to become a strong coalition -- with Erik's help, the other three got rid (finally) of phillip and now might be unstoppable.

I continue to love the water-related physical challenges. the one where they had to be flat as the water kept raising was hot ,,, especially when erik emerged from the water... his hair keeps growing and looking better and better...

Malcolm found a second idol to use on Eddie Producers handed Malcolm a second idol for Eddie because with Malcolm having one and Reynold winning the challenge, letting Eddie "find" one would just look too rigged. Even for CBS.

I'd be shocked if that happens. Only because these women aren't morons -- Andrea and Brenda in particular are smarter than that -- and they've shown complete disregard for the "cool" group (they all pretty much think the three guys are idiots). They've had multiple chances to flip before and they always chose to stick it to the guys. Remember most of these are returning players who know that they don't want to go to the end with someone like Malcolm.

I expect the guys to be knocked out one by one unless they keep finding hidden immunity idols.

Cochran is hilarious. His quips about Phillip are going to be missed. Which was also Corrine's only virtue. "He is the worst special agent ever. I mean, what cases did he crack? I really want to know what he was working on." ROFL

The boys are looking better by the week. Malcolm is the best looking, but his body is shapeless, you know his ass is a mess. His comment about being an accomplished liar was also IMO more shallow than Reynold's bravado (which is proven). Eddie, who is adorable with his lisp is starting to look like Ronald McDonald.

Total package and he knows it...Reynold. Hang on, man.

Can we please discuss Dawn for a minute? Her missing tooth meltdown was scary. I felt terrible for her and not because she lost her teeth but because it crippled her like it did. And Brenda definitely learned her lesson last time she played and is flying totally under the radar, seemingly, not saying much at all. She seems to be just working hard and going with the flow. I wouldn't mind seeing her at the end.

Malcolm - Brenda - Reynold. My final three. Picks, not predictions. Reynold will have to pull off a miracle. The target on his back is as big as I've seen on anyone in the game.

So - back to the original question, I originally thought Eddie because of his hotness. But after so many days in the wilderness, I feel like Reynold has held up better in terms of just looks.

Like I said, the guys are toast. Malcolm of course is the biggest chump this season. He had two idols last week. Had he played for himself and not his frat bros he would've let Eddie get the boot last week and kept that extra idol for himself this week. That would at least buy him one more week in the game.

^ ^ ^ you called it, sarge. congrats! Malcolm ultimately failed -- not finding the immunity idol did him in, though had he found it, it probably would've only added a week before he got the boot. I suspect he told reynold and eddie what the clue was so that they can hunt for it.

at this point, it's anybody's game among the alliance. let the back-stabbing begin. I just hope that the incredibly beautiful erik can weather the storm.
