Man arrested for hitting his boyfriend in the face with a plate for listening to Alanis Morissette, (guess which state)

JACKSONVILLE, Florida (WTEV) - A man was arrested and booked into the Duval County Jail after he allegedly hit his boyfriend in the face with a plate.

Police say the cause of the fight was over Alanis Morissette songs.

It happened on Sunday near the 1400 block of Palm Ave.

The Florida Times Union reports that when police asked 24-year-old Allen Blair Casey if the cause of the plate attack was because his boyfriend was listening to Morissette's music, Casey replied, "That's all that --- ---- listens to."

Police report the victim suffered a large cut on his face.

Casey was arrested and charged with domestic battery.

According to cops, when asked why he did it, Casey said:

"That's all the mother****er listens to"

isn't dc like its own district or something like that where it's not a part of maryland or virginia or whereever? like it's federal property or something like that. i dunno if you guys in maryland consider it to be a part of your state. i don't consider dc a part of maryland but speaking of which, the state of maryland is just as crazy as any of the other states. i've heard stories of crazy things that happened in baltimore. one of my mom's former coworker's son got murdered down there by his so called "friends" who were jealous of him and his car shop business where he was making money. they decided to rob him one day and his girlfriend played the "set up girl" luring him to one of the vacants for whatever. i don't know what that was about but all i know is that they shot him inside the vacant and set his body on fire to hide the evidence. two of the guys that did it got life without parole sentences while his girlfriend that set him up didn't get charged.

until the federal government acknowledges same sex marriages where it is protected federally and doma is outlawed, same sex marriage in america cannot be taken seriously EVEN if it's acknowledged on at the state level. i think it's ridiculous how your marriage is only valid if you chose to live in one of the few states that acknowledge same sex marriage but if you decided to move to somewhere outside the state you got married in which doesn't acknowledge same sex marriages, your marriage becomes nonexistent. that right there is fucked up.
