Same Sex Couple on The Price is Right

It's Valentine Couple's Day on The Price is Right.

And in what I think is a first...they called down a same sex couple. Amanda and Michelle. They didn't bid well enough to make it on stage, however.

It's a small thing, but I think it's progress.

Rob Wilson was also on today's show.

I record the show but that was because of Rob. I make a compilation on video when Rob is on stage.

I believe - without looking - that I still have that epsidoe but I might be wrong.

On Christmas Day, they had a guy in a wheelchair and he won the showcase. There was a ramp for him. But I dont know, on Christmas, a guy in a wheelchair wins. It seems like it might have been scripted because I have watched the show through my life and I have never seen another person in a wheelchair and look what day someone in a wheelchair wins. I did save the footage of him.

I saw a guy on Youtube and he records the Price is Right for no reason in particular. Its regular segments of the shows. Nothing extra ordinary happened on it.

There was a lesbian couple of Total Blackout the other day. I happen to save the dvr footage because this guy, I thought, looked like the guy (Stephen Amell) on Arrow. I actually just finished editing the footage of him from the show. There were some nice biceps on a guy who helps the people because the show is about being in total darkness and guessing what items are and it was when the lesbians are shown that you see this big bicep in the background.

I deleted the couple on The Price is Right. It was couples if that hadnt been said already and I zipped through the show.


Rob is on one day and not another. No rhyme or reason (for anyone wondering)

I saw the episode the guy in the wheelchair. I agree, I think it was pre-planned. I used to work at a CBS affiliate and have never seen them do that before. I remember someone in a wheelchair a couple of years ago. But that show was clearly edited. He was in contestant row...then there was an edit...and he was on stage at one of the games that takes place on a platform.

I agree about Rob. If there's a pattern to his appearances, I can't figure it out. Adding to that is the way CBS does re-runs. Some weeks are all re-runs. Some weeks are a mix of old and new.

Just because a man chooses to where sequined sport jackets 5 days a week does not mean he's Gay........

I think its funny that on the Any Number game, someone finally had the bright aide to list all the numbers so you arent thinking "Which numbers havent I used yet"

Of course they chose women. Lesbians are the safe choice. Progress, sure, but nothing that should shake the earth, being a gay man.

^ I agree...it's a safer to pick women. That's not to say there haven't been plenty of gay men who were picked on the normal non-couple shows.

I miss ol' Rod! In my line of work as an overnight cashier for a 24-hour supermarket, on nights when I'm in a particularly cheerful mood, I do greet the customers, "Good evening! Come on down!" The older clientele love it, and pic up on the Price Is Right reference immediately.

Charles Barkley was on.

In the segment where they spin the wheel, a guy in each segment 'spin the big wheel' said hi to his husband, and the other guy said hi to his boyfriend
