Red herring, but it's a nice try. I guess someone had to dig up something. And other polls said Obama was ahead by the way.
By the way, approval rating polls are actually pretty accurate.

And to add to that, what I mean is this. While the fact that a poll says one thing is hardly proof that the thing is true, polls work on models, and understanding those models can give you insight. A certain poll showed that the vast percentage of NCers were FOR the anti-gay amendment in their constitution. That tells us that at least some of them really do. Apart from that though, the question they were asked was phrased in a way that made it seem like the amendment only prevented gay marriage. Pro-gay groups failed SPECTACULARLY to inform the population that the amendment actually also annulled civil unions. Another survey showed that when this was explained to the people, a good half of them changed their mind and were no longer supporting it.
Which brings me to this: you need to know 1. who did the poll, 2. was there an intended goal that could be easily found, 3. how big was the sample, 4. which elements of the community did it cover, 5. and most importantly, how the questions were phrased. Knowing all of that, you can actually read the poll for what it really says. In the end, even if ALL it says is that the pollster was desperate for that particular result, you have still learned something, and people like Nate Silver are capable of actually reading a lot more when overlapping polls and other factors.
By the way, NOBODY of the homocon naysayers on JUB had the decency of admitting Silver had been right with his predictions. Shame on you :/ How big of a person you are is ONLY EVER truly shown in your ability to admit mistakes.

Oh give me a break. Take the vendetta elsewhere. I provided evidence as to why in this thread (including polling, but that was off topic).

Yeah, and someone already told you polling is not the most accurate way to prove a damn thing and all you did was deflect.
I mean, I don't know about you, but people who got on the bandwagon for Obama/Biden (like me) and are still on it after he won are...well still on the fucking bandwagon.

Blah blah... what did I deflect again? Polling is actually quite accurate. I addressed it directly. Keep up the VENDETTA.

No Obama bandwagon here. I honestly support the guy because there are reasons for it. Not because everybody else was doing it lol.

I hope you got a comfy chair on the bandwagon. I would seat you next to me, but I don't like people who lie to my face.
