according to the weather channel at least, it's not supposed to be much more than rain for the NYC area (maybe freezing rain, worst case scenario).

hope so but that in itself is bad. rather that it snow than freezing rain. at least, it's more of an excuse to not be out on the street driving. the weekend is going to be really nasty. funny how about a week ago, it felt like the spring was coming early.

The only reason I love living here in Vegas is its relatively mild weather. Yes, it gets hot and there are those rare flash floods but it's nothing compared these storms.

The downside of living here is it's incredibly boring and there is a huge lack of culture.

We're supposed to get 2 feet total friday and saturday. I like to think that we are playing catchup to the previous winter were the only snow we got wasn't even in winter.

Western NY is expected to get a lighter dusting (if you call 5-8 inches a lighter dusting...) than the rest of the Northeast.
