I know about the settings where I can turn off avatars and sigs. But at the top of the page there's always the ad with that big-ass black penis wrapping another guy's neck.

I know, I know, I've turned off my browser's ability to show images on the webpage. But if the owner of the site is kind enough to remove such ads from the top of the hot topics page, I would be very grateful.

I use the asus transformer infinity. It's rooted and I have adblocker on. I don't understand why adblocker blocks every other ad but the ad on top of the page. Weird.

This is exactly why I became a supporter.

Also, it may not be a mod's fault that content isn't "safe-for-work." They may not catch certain things that don't go in Hot Topics in time.

Maybe it's my fault; I mentioned the ads disappearing for one month or two before New Year...and poof here they are again! Corny sure knows how to mindfuck people now I have to actually wait until no one's around then scroll as fast as I can...luckily I work in a corner so chance of getting caught is small

I agree with the notion putting the ads on the bottom of the page only. Or, we can make it an non-suspicious flip (like there used to be an icon on the top right of the page which revealed its content when someone placed their cursor on it). I cannot install too many extensions/add-ons; my browser is already slow enough with only three add-ons!

But fact remains ...why would you waste company time on here? You only hurt yourself in terms of lost productivity. It's like being on your mobile at work taking personal calls. You could "receive an infraction"...or worse.
