Re: Malware
This is the slight problem with the Ask The Mods forum. You need to actively check to see if there is a response.
That said, if you have asked a question (as I have a couple of times), then I would check regularly to see if there is an answer.

Re: Malware
Can I ask exactly how was your computer infected from malware from JUB? It wasn't because of the promotional ads on the log in page if you're not signed in, was it?

Re: Malware
My virus protector sometimes blips when I visit Pornoboy's porn pic threads. I assume it has to do with wherever he's linking the pictures from.

Re: Malware
The malware isn't hosted on JUB so you won't be infected that way, but sometimes when photos are hotlinked from other sites and those sites are on a "watchlist" you'll get the warning. We try to ban these domains when they are reported to us by you guys. When you report the offensive, its best if you can include the domain name that the report says is causing the problem which allows us to block that domain. If we just get a message there is malware on this page, it can still be very hard for us to find it (needle in a haystack) because we don't necessarily get the same warning you do. In the case posted recently, we couldn't duplicate the circumstance but as soon as the domain was posted we were able to block it and ask for retesting to see if the malware warning was released.

Re: Malware
The last time JUB itself was red-listed as a malware site, it was because of a link to an off jub site. The link was removed and all was well.
If its any reassurance, my anti-virus with malware detection software Norton 360 doesn't seem to flag anything up when I look through page 69 on the thread you mentioned earlier in the site problems thread.
Posts can be deleted by the mods if there is a problem. Or pics and links removed by reporting the particular message that is the root of the problem.
It also helps to have a regularly updated anti-malware/virus software running whilst browsing and that all your java updates are the most recent as well your browser version for security.
