Fighting his way through the crowd, Erick felt suffocated. Blue lights hit his eyes and dancing men pushed him from side to side. He could see the exit. It was blurry due to the sweat in his eyes and alcohol in his system, but he knew it was there. The music was loud, and he’s about to faint. The moment he drifted into the numbness, he woke up.

“Bad dream?” asks Jeremy who lay next to him on the bed inside his space decorated, ocean view room. “Yeah, the club orgy again.” replied Erick rubbing his dark green eyes. “You really should talk to someone about this, you’re having it like every single night.” Jeremy grabbed his phone. Erick sits up straight, looks out into the ocean through his balcony. The sun was rising and summer, it begins now!

See, Erick and Jeremy have just graduated high school. Jeremy’s father, a very respected entrepreneur bought him a beach house as a congratulations gift. A beach house Jeremy decided to enjoy with his best friend, Erick. Erick and Jeremy met in Kindergarten. Erick needed the red crayon to finish his drawing and Jeremy was nice enough to give it to him, and then take his sandwich which led to a tearful brawl which called to a parent/teacher conference where play dates were suggested…and that’s when it started.

They did everything together. At eleven they discovered porn and at about fourteen they would masturbate together. This stopped at sixteen when Erick told Jeremy that he was gay. Jeremy stopped talking to Erick for about a month until Jeremy’s then girlfriend Sara made them make up.

Everyone knows their friendship is unbreakable. They seem like two of a kind. Both beautiful, one with green eyes and the other with blue. Erick’s skin so glimmering white while Jeremy’s a golden brown. Both are rich, and both are extremely popular, but they are extremely different.
This summer would test their friendship, and both of them individually. Nothing will stay the same.
