Immigration plan 'is not amnesty in any sense of the word.'

Ann Coulter is doing what she does best for the GOP; throwing shit to the wall for them to see what sticks.

The only chance that the GOP has at making any inroads in picking up Hispanic Votes; who aren't Cubans, is to either lead the way, or to be equal partners in finding a solution to our Nation's Immigration Problems.

But go ahead Ann, throw Marco Rubio under the bus, and you can be the poster child of why the GOP should remain a party of "Angry white MEN." ;)
 
While I'm no fan of Coulter, she did pretty much predict that Romney would lose. As for Rubio, he deserves her wrath. Being in Florida, I can tell you that Rubio has done ZERO to advance immigration solutions here (or anything else) and really needs to learn that the Hispanic community is not only about the Cuban people.
 
The immigration problem is the immigration. With millions of Americans unemployed and underemployed, we need a moratorium to give our people a chance. The reason the Democrats want immigration "reform" is that they want to rush illegals to voting status to join the class/race war and vote Democrat. Their idea of Democracy is that if the American people don't want the party's socialist agenda, flood the country with poor immigrants who will vote socialist.
 
i dont think romney lost all by himself. the gop never had much of a chance to begin with. im actually stunned that the republican candidate got as many votes as he did, who are these people who want to take our country backwards?
 
Is Coulter even relevant? She's just a shock queen... says whatever she needs to to get her name in the press and sell books.

It wasn't difficult to see that Romney would lose. He wasn't a very good candidate, his people ran a shitty campaign, they picked an idiot for Veep for him. His entire campaign was a joke and now they're trying to erase the memory of it as fast as they can. It's like it never existed.

Why do the Republicans want immigration reform?
 
Republicans want a halt to illegal immigration. Others, with substantial immigrant numbers in their states are afraid to oppose the Democrat agenda.

on the topic: I actually spent years worried that the upcoming large Latino voter base might swing Republican because of their traditionally conservative and Catholic social views. I can't even tell you how many Prop 8 support bumper stickers I saw on cars here in California where every other bumper sticker was in Spanish. Republicans are sticking hardcore to the idea that their message isn't out of touch or to blame, just the implementation of disseminating it and obstructing the vote for non white males. As far as I'm concerned they can keep running on that platform, and lose monstrously again in 2016.

Ann Coulter is a demonstration of how far the republicans have to go to go around their own 'braintrust' base of ideology. They have built their hole so deep climbing out and becoming a part of America will be difficult.

A lot of people need to acquaint themselves with the definition of "Hispanic" especially those who like to throw around the catchphrase "the Latino vote". Some people seem to think that all Latinos have the same cultural traits and political leanings and that they therefore vote as a block on certain issues.

Close the border as tightly as possible. Send the National Guard to the borders. Authorize them to shoot to kill.
Problem solves.

Oh, or we could simply start enforcing existing laws. What a novel idea.

My partner of 17 years is a full-blooded Puerto Rican, and both he and any member of his extended family to whom you speak will tell you that the illegals from Mexico are NOT Hispanic by any stretch of the original meaning of the word.

Most of the illegals swarming across our southern borders are of Meso-American Inddian stock and have very little, if any, Spanish blood in them. Hence, not Hispanic.

FYI the eastern bloc border patrols were set up to keep people in, not to keep people out.

As for shoot to kill, why not? If someone is breaking into your house, you are within your rights in shooting them.
Breaking into your country is no different.
