90s Nostalgia ad from Microsoft (So many feels) [For us 90s kids]

Life really was different, we would go outside and play until it got dark. We could walk 10 steps without pulling a device out of our pocket to hold and sheepishly scroll through. We had an opportunity to really live life to it's fullest because we weren't concerned about what was going on in an online forum. We had a chance to find relief from the trials/bullying/conflicts instead of getting reminded every 45 seconds on a news feed.


You talked to people, you passed notes, friend requests were made in person and probably during a pokemon battle.




The internet is a beautiful thing, but so was life before it.

I love the 90's. It was the year that I am born. I love tomaguchi They are like the "it" thing during that time. I remembered all the popular boys in school has them and I begged my parents so badly to buy me on of them just so I can hang out with the popular boys lol.

But internet that time is such a bitch though. Dial-ups My parents always call back everyday to check what we are doing. And usually when the internet is on dial-up the phone line will not be usable.

I was 11 when 90210 ended. When I did watch, I remember it being pretty sexy. I suppose it wasn't for my age group though.

I will say that TV is more inclusive now. Its more racially and religiously diverse and people actually recognize teen LGBT.

But every decade had it's own unique offerings. I was running a TRS model 100 at 300 baud in the 80's dialing into BBS's. ALL TEXT, guys! I could almost type at 300 baud!

The 90's were cool... things were beginning to pick up speed technologically. It was still fun and I make some serious bank as a Technician. Got my first cell phone! Oooo.... ! And they cost a grip at the time.
I felt like a baller with that thing hanging on my belt.

In 2k things began to kind of go downhill... the whole country changed after 9/11. It never really stopped and here we are now. Hope it get's better again.

you have a point but i would say that there's a huge generation gap between the 80s babies and the 90s babies where there's a cut off period for the 90s kid. i would say that the limit for a 90s kid would be about 1991. anybody born after that can't really call themselves a 90 kid. i just think it's annoying to hear a bunch of folks born in 1992, 1993 and etc talking about how life was back in 1992 and 1993 calling themselves 90 kids. huh? since when did babies and toddlers become kids? i'm seriously supposed to take someone's input on how life was back in 1996 and 1997 when they were born in 1992? it makes no sense.

Do you guys still watch cartoon network and power rangers? I feel like after a certain age we start watching more MTV, Discovery, TLC, Network TV ect ect. Toy Ads would be a waste of money on those channels at nearly all time slots because kids are not watching that.

speaking of the 90s. people often mention the same old things, tv shows and etc. there's some things that folks forgot about but i know folks know this.







usa network used to be the shit for a second in the 90s. i think they used to air some softcore porn on late night too because i remember seeing some movie with some women riding some horses looking like the beginning of a porno. correct me if i'm wrong though.

remember when the discovery channel, the learning channel, a&e, the history channel and all the education channels actually used to have good tv shows that were worth a damn before they were taken over by reality shows the last decade.












can't forget about playing around with the cable box to see warped porn on the spice channel, playboy channel and pay per view wrestling events. the old comcast cable box.

and local tv was actually worth watching too. it's not like that anymore.

watching tgif and then 20/20 back when barbara walters and hugh downs used to host it together.
