In this interview, Cissy clearly says she would not like if it if Whitney were gay. Now this has elicited many strong reactions on websites like towleroad.

on one hand, some people say quick to say to refer to the civil rights struggle in the 60's and call her hypocritical. others are calling her a horrible stage mom. and some are saying that she says she does not like it but does not mean she wouldnt have accepted Whitney.

imo, Cissy does not seem like the kind of person who is fame/money hungry...but was anyone really expecting any sort of different answer from her...everyone knows came from a very religious background.

So all this time I was thinking Bobby introduced her to drugs. It was actually her brother. Now that is fucked up. He caused his sisters addiction and eventual death. He has to live with that.
