ODDIKNOW - Putin -- reformer or exterminator of democracy

Curious about your awareness of the world, and not sure of mine.

    What is your perspective.

I love the resistence, but observe the reality in Russia... the twisted, corrupt
    reality.

HUMAN GROWTH -- struggling, fumbling, TRYING, failing and trying again and again, I know is all that matters in life.
    Does Putin preserve?
    Does Putin degenerate?
    Does Putin encourage?

I say, he hangs in-between... and all Russia suffers, but much less than it would under another.

    YOU?

    P.S.
Meet NEEDS 1st: air/water/food/shelter/LOVE/education -- are these BASIC needs met? no. Russia is a mess.

I think the problem with Putin is, he was the head of the KGB and his mindset hasn't changed. Despite the constitution saying he can only have 2 terms as pres, he's managed to wangle a way to a third term in 2012.

With so many backers, he can afford to eliminate his rivals, even arrest so called oligarchs etc. Despite the thawing of relations, his stance over the last few years has become harder, and is going to become more like the cold war mentality that he must have worked through on his rise to the top.

    Thanks for the thoughtful reply.

He TRIES to at least give the appearence of working against corruption, which poisons all of Russia.

It so sucks. They have amazing, strategic, logestic, innovative... they are amazing. It sucks.

THEY MUST BE EDUCATED and LOVED.
