Adult gummy multivitamins

Do/would you take these?


In my mind, they're kind of silly. If they're so irresistible, shouldn't you worry about "overdosing"? If I wanted a gummy, I'd get a package of gummy bears. If regular multivitamins are too big, you could always buy a pill cutter (or cut them with a regular knife). My friend said that regular ones taste bland, but so do all of the other pills. How come my Allegra doesn't come in tangerine flavor? Plus, that's why you drink water while you take the pill. And the taste lasts a second.

There seems to be a trend in healthcare assuming that people can't take pills. I love the commercials that are like "I used to have to take time out of my busy schedule to take a pill ONCE A WEEK."

I've seen a million(maybe not) times online and actually talked to a guy that when they clean porta-johns(worksite toilets) the biggest thing left in cleaning are undissolved vitamins and capsules. Gummies are supposed to be the easily dissolvable(digestion) and less wasteful source of adsorbtion- There are a lot of studies showing liquid vitamins(drops under the tongue) are easily absorbed into the system- as cpsules and tablets are subject to individual digestive systems and the things they are working on at the time of ingestion. I tried gummies for a while- but my dog thought I was eating candy and not sharing-too disruptive!(not that I give him candy mind you!) I didn't notice a difference after 2 months so I assumed (my decision-right or wrong) that I had enough vitamins in my regular diet. Do your own research. I don't take a side-good for one- not good for another!

TBH I eat all kinds of vitamins- my health anxiety pushing me to swallow unthinkable supplements.

On the other hand, I noticed my local grocery store now had fish-oil supplements in gummy form. Um, ew?

Am I the only one that finds it a little bit Ironic they call them "adult" vitamins, and have to wrap them up in candy to get adults to eat them???

I'm against giving these to kids too. I think it just teaches them that candy is good for you.
