Xtube starting to suck :/

Ive had allot of time on my hands the past few days being home with an upper resp infection.
The side effects of all this B complex and zinc is Im hornier than usual, so checked out xtube.
Is it just me or has the content really gone to hell?

It's all 15 second preview clips and site promos.

yep. i used to go there all the time for my daily jackoff material, and now I dont even bother because of that very reason!. 15 sec clips. forget it. I found better sites to jack too.

Here's how to surf xtube effectively:
1. Use advanced search to limit to clips over 3 or 4 minutes. That's a good sweet spot that doesn't have many "sponsor" videos mixed in.
2. Pick a keyword for the topic that you're interested in, you know something like "anal", "twink", "big cock", "bareback", etc.
3. Sort by date added.
4. As you look through the videos that are returned and find something you like, try going to the user page that uploaded the video (click on the user name).
5. Start going through the user's favorite videos if they have them. More often that not, users like videos of similar content to the ones they upload.
6. Repeat 4-5, but perhaps launch a new browser tab for each repeat to avoid getting confused about the tree you're in.
7. Enjoy.

True. Even some of the hottest guys there that had lots of followers deleted or abandoned their profiles. Others upload copyrighted videos by others without permission and drop the whole site standard. If I want to download commercial porn movies, I have my other sources. XTube is all about amateurs.

Why X-Tube in particular, when there are loads of other similar sites that are far better? Is it "Amateur" stuff you like, because many of these sites have the word "Categories" at the top and if you click that you get loads of amateur vids to choose from ... Also at the top of this screen shot is "Popular Searches" with 'tags' for 'amateurs' etc. ...

I use xtube to store my own homemade stuff. Only solo - but hope it doesn't suck. For pro-porn I use myvidster.
