I've been with my partner for a long time. I'm pretty bi - but mostly gay. We've had a guy live with us for a while. I fuck women once in a while. The tough part of having more than one emotional connection is that there doesn't really seem for there to be a way to have exactly equal feelings for both lovers. Any guy that's joined us can't really compete with the decades we've been together, and he feels kind of short changed, and rightly so. I haven't met a woman who doesn't want to be your "everything" if she's involved with you emotionally. Sometimes even my female fuck buddies start getting emotionally involved and I have to cut it off because there is no way I'm ever leaving my partner.

I fantasized about this extensively myself. In practice, it's never worked out for me. I think it's so hard to find that person to whom you feel such a connection - and to find two of them is even harder, then to find that third person who feels that way about both of you....... what are the odds?
