Necessity for keeping Personal Beliefs personal
Necessity for keeping Personal Beliefs personal in the modern world:
- Imposing beliefs on adult human beings is subjugation/domination
In the modern age of democracy, it is imperitive that each individual develop
the skills of rational thought and sound reasoning to participate. Imposing
beliefs on others creates a culture of ignorance, perpetuating concepts and
perspectives which where the 'best' efforts of the dead, not the living.
A democracy always changes... struggling to adapt to knew technologies,
greater understanding of the nature of man, demographic shifts, environmental
vicissitudes. Those living in the modern ages must do better than those who
lived before.
- Atheists and agnostics are only a small part of the mass of humanity who share this perspective.
The only individuals who do not are those in the majority religion/tribe/faction within their culture.
All minorities are forced to develop the mental flexibility to 'see' through
the majority's eyes, just to survive. Only the overwhelming majority is afforded
the luxury of remaining blind to the perspectives and beliefs of others around them.
Human beings are finite, we simply have limited time to think. Even if made aware
of the serious wrong inherent in subjugating others, decent people
working under too short a deadline become blind to the oppression of
minorities, rather than striving for BETTER FOR ALL, as they must.
- What do you THINK, REALLY THINK? More and different than me, good. PLEASE JUST THINK!
P.S.
Personal objective for me for now - express the living ideas in my head BETTER within
a psychological context (not meta-physical, which is a mess for all and lost without the
context of my being, and so rather useless to anyone but me--and even there the shelf life
is so short -- life changes, and I AM ALIVE)

My friend , is there anyone that you can talk to ?
Just a bit concerned about your diatribes , which seem to be coming on a more frequent rate of speed now .
In no way am i saying that you may need some guidance , though perhaps zn individual who may be able to give you a decent
discussion , may-just be what you are in need off .
Take care ,
