The problem with confessions is that they have consequences.
Just ask Lance Armstrong.
Or some others.
Confessions extracted under threat are never as satisfying as those that pour from the soul out of an innate sense of wanting to set things right.
And confessions without remorse are a waste of everyone's time.

I can understand. It's tough to have to face this sort of thing on a regular basis. You don't always "build up a tolerance to it".
