The writers really need to think of challenges without 'puzzle pieces'. I thought the bags were going to be puzzle pieces

I agree, but considering they have men and women of different age and sizes competing, they try to make the challenges as physically and mentally balanced as possible (though I don't feel as if they balance them out properly). A puzzle works well in delaying a confused person attempting it, just like how a physical task prevents a weak person from completing it with ease.

There have been very few challenges where being skinny/underweight or physically weak works as an advantage. The majority of their challenges are biased towards being physically fit & athletic.

There are multiple challenges involving balance every season and those always favor women who are smaller and have lower centers of gravity. Actually, it was a balancing challenge at Redemption Island that Andrea beat like four guys to return to the game.

I said that the minute her full face was shown talking to a-hole Shamar on the beach. It looks like she has had surgery to resemble Sandra.

I truly felt like I had seen this episode a dozen times where you have the worthless pile being saved because he seems like a good person to drag to the end and it seems everyone of them will pay the price in the next show since he goes ballistic.

yeah, I know it will be on "Slice" (a channel up here run by Global TV). I am surprised Global themselves aren't putting it on their main network, but whatever. Online episodes will likely be on the Global website (globaltv.com), but I am pretty sure those are always only view-able in Canada. Surely someone will have them going on Youtube or somewhere else. Canadians might be slower to take them down for copyright LOL!

The editing of this season so far is atrocious. All I have to anticipate at the moment is Sherri Botox being a HBIC fan, featuring occasional background shots of Brenda's radiance.

Also I cannot believe they filled the fan tribe up with so many blonde girls. I'm a hardcore fan and I didn't even realize which one was Allie and which one was Hope until Tribal. I can tell Hope and Laura apart because Laura is the one who called out Reynold, so I guess it's okay now.


Instead of one of the three blondes, this is the brunette fan who hasn't talked yet. It made me laugh. Get that screen time, girl.

It's the Phillip show after all with Brandon as his costar and everyone else is fodder for the livestock. I had too much Phillip in his season with Boston Rob and to have so much of him again is just nauseating. There are too many people who get no screen time and this girl mentioned above is one of them. I didn't even know who the hell she was at tribal and since she has basically said and done nothing that warrants screen time I may never know her.

Reynold should have said, " I was just glad to see you," when she mentioned the bulge but they would have edited that out. I don't find him skeevy at all, not as much as Shamar and some others. I find Andrea a bit underwhelming. I do love Dawn and Corrine, am warming again to Cochran because he is such a nerd.

And did I say I hate the fuck out of Phillip so much so that he may make me give up the season if they continue to make it The Phillip and Brandon Show.

I really seem to be enjoying this season.

The first episode...I feel bad and sorry for Franchessca, being voted out first again. The Favourites should have given her a chance to play the game.

Episode two...Ally seems like a nice,sweet girl. I can't believe she gets voted off .

I don't know who I should be rooting for, it's kinda too early to tell.

And I can't believe Brenda is on the outs. I remember she was a huge power player last time. Now, she just seems to be very under the radar.

Phillip, ugh. You know he had to think about what color underwear he was going to wear on the show before it started, again ugh. I was happy to see the foursome in the fans get broken up with Ally getting the boot. Brandon is an idiot and shouldn't speak, he looks evil when they film him at night, but still if I didn't know him and he didn't talk... I kinda felt the same way about Willie (BB) too.

I'm still out on who to root for, I like Dawn, Cochran and still kinda like Malcolm.

There are so many stupid people on Survivor, I am having trouble watching it. I was watching it for the ocasional eye candy and for the suspense, but I am beginning to hate several people and am not sure I will continue to watch.

Hope is a perfect example of the kind of dumb girl/s they usually cast on Survivor and Big Brother who plays for the guy/s she's snuggling with rather than herself. When Shamar explained the plan to her, instead of running back to the enemy and trying to make them angry at Shamar for the possibility that she could sway the vote back to him, she should've just gone for the sure thing and thrown her vote to Eddy in the first round and he'd be eliminated instead of her. That would've had the double effect of 1) protecting herself and 2) exposing to Shamar's allies that he had gone off on his own and manipulated the vote to get out a strong competitor they didn't want to eliminate yet.

But no. She's a dumbass and she wanted to protect Eddy even more than protect herself. Oh well.

Oh and I never cared much for Andrea but she's won me over for life now just by wanting to vote off Corinne.

Brenda is kind of a letdown this season. She's so quiet, under the radar and in the minority alliance.

I thought she would have align with Corrine and Andrea.

It's kind of hard for Brenda to get any airtime when the Favorites have won immunity twice and the editors have to shove Phillip and Brandon down our throats. I'm not happy about her edit resembling her Nicaraguan friend Purple Kelly's so far, but I still have hope she'll emerge soon.

yea im glad shamar is gone, i love though how his eye is hurt but yet as soon as medical came you woudl have thought that he had a whoel body infection with needing to be helped to the boat and whatnot, so pathetic. also im thinking the only way for sand to get in your eye and scratch your cornea would be if you rubbed it super hard. the cornea isnt that strong but just a piece of sand wouldnt cause a scratch if you washed it out.

and i cant beleive at what im seeing for next week, with brandon going crazy and then i saw him pour the rice on the ground and i was like OMG, i would have punched him in the face, but i think production would replace it.

also looks like favorites going to tribal, and then maybe they told brandon he was going home, which made him go crazy.

Did Jeff Probst get a little too comforting to Brandon. That shoulder massage just got so creepy. The Hantz family has some serious issues and anger isn't the only one. Fucking Andrea had to run to Brandon with Phillip's idea even though they all wanted Brandon gone. I got so uncomfortable with this episode.

I detested Phillip in his season as I did Brandon and I would loved to see them both leave.

this was the most intense episode of survivor ive seen, honestly i think production was going to disqualify brandon for pouring the rice and beans out, but they knew that the faves were gonn forfiet the challenge so they just went with it. i feel that if the faves came to the challenge and wanted to play, Jeff would have grabbed brandon and told him he had to go.

thats why he brought brandon over to quickly cause im sure they were all worried that he was literally going to kill phil, and while im not a fan of phil's at all, thats the game he plays, hes condescending, hes rude, he thinks hes the king pin, in survivor you have to just deal with that.

im not a nurse (yet) but i really think brandon has some undiagnosed bipolar, because its a game, everyone puts on a front and he treats survivor as real life. i think now cbs are done with hantz, willie hit someone, brandon almost hit someone in a less controlled environment, and russell doesnt want to do another one after his swift departure in redemption.
