I've been applying moisturizer on my face just before going to bed, along with Vaseline on my lips. I have no problem with doing that, but I do not know if I am using it at the wrong time of day. I read someone saying they apply it a few hours before going out, so maybe that is the right time. Maybe there is no 'wrong' time.
Not a huge health problem at all, but couldn't see a more appropriate part of the forum to stick this in. Thanks.

I use moisturizer twice a day........once after washing my face in the morning and once at night after showering before I go to work.

It also depends on what kind of climate you live in and what type of skin you have.
If you live in a dry climate or you have dry skin, you may want to apply after washing your face.
If you have oily skin or you live in a humid climate, applying once a day may be enough for you. If you use a sunscreen during the day, this may be sufficient, too.
