Seriously...I really thought that Dame Thatcher and Prince Phillip would not be with us by the end of 2012.

And yes...it is in horrible taste....but I disagree that expecting someone to die is not the same as wishing it. I certainly didn't want to lose our 18 year old cat....sigh....nor do I want to imagine a world where Liz is without Phil...or that Thatcher does not linger on in a twilight of dementia.

So, embracing my inner BenF again for this year....

I'm with Rareboy on this. Predicting a death is not necessarily the same as wishing it, although some posters do seem to stray close to that.
