Which celebrities do you like that are no longer alive? And what are your opinions of them?

My personal favorite is Heath Ledger. Having seen his performance in the dark knight, he has to be best actor I've ever come across. His performance was stunning. I also liked him in Brokeback Mountain. It's really sad that he died; he could've really became a legendary star like John Wayne.

I have two of them. I couldn't choose a 1st or 2nd place. Andy Gibb, younger brother of the Bee Gees. He died from drug abuse at the age of 30...too young. The other one would be Timothy Patrick Murphy. He is known (in my opinion) best as Mickey Trotter on the original Dallas series. He died from AIDS at 29 years old.....way too young. Growing up I'd make sure I was home to watch Dallas. I thought Mickey was hot.

My choice would be former pro-wrestler Ravishing Rick Rude. Sure, wrestlers may not be considered true celebrities, but I always have found them entertaining, especially Rude. He would always flaunt his sex appeal, and had that amazing hard body of his. Loved the tights and the mullet.

One of my first teen idol crushes when I was a kid was Jonathan Brandis. I used to cut out his mini-posters from the teen mags. I might even still have Ladybugs on VHS in a storage box somewhere. I sure wore that one out back in the day! His eyes & hair were so dreamy. I think I cried when I learned the news of his suicide nearly a decade ago. It just tears me apart to think that someone could be so unhappy. He seemed like such a sweet guy too, not douchey like the similarly-fated Brad Renfro. I think your first celeb crushes are bascially fantasy boyfriends. I always get a bit sad when I think about him.

I liked James Dean after I learned about him from seeing James Franco play him in his biopic. I think he may have reincarnated as James Franco lol. He was really handsome and sexy. I loved Aaliyah too. I loved her music and she did a damn good job playing Akasha in Queen of the Damned even though the movie sucked.

I was also devastated when he died. I was 20 at the time. He was a gifted actor and so cute. I will never forget those awful tabloid photos of him in his casket all pale faced and black hair. Beauty gone from drugs and death. A true tragedy.
