    My New Year Resolution.

I've decided my resolution will involve my abstaining from posting on JUB.

As such, and to avoid temptation, i shall not be logging in, though i will likely pop by to browse the forums as they can be entertaining and or interesting.

I spend too much time here, and have decided to take up reading instead. I have bought the Lord of the Rings trilogy for that purpose.

As with past resolutions, i expect i WILL break this one eventually. It'll be amazing if i reached 1 month tbh, but i'm giving it a go.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year, and may 2013 bring you all that you deserve.

you only have one life to live. if you love posting on jub, continue to post on jub. it makes no sense to say no to something that you love. i used to abstain from masturbation around this time of year or whatever but now i learned that, it doesn't make any sense. be merrified.

All the best to you. I think focus is a good thing.

BTW, if you find you're struggling with LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring, persevere, it gets better as it goes along.

I started the book yesterday. I read the intro about the hobbits beforehand, and got a little bored, but i read the first chapter of the FotR proper and it was a good start. I read the Hobbit when i was in my teens, so i know i'll enjoy the read, especially since i'm mad about the films. Already i'm enjoying it and noticing the differences. I'm aiming for a chapter a night and leave it at that.

I said I was going to start reading like I use to, I even raided the discount book bin at BAMM but I've gotten so hooked on audiobooks, I can barely walk out of the house without something playing. Good luck to you!

I was thinking something like that...I should make a resolution to stop visiting/spending time of the various gay forums
I would have a nice bit of free time in the evenings to 'waste' on some other useless task -LOL- doubt I'd be missed/noticed

    CRACKED on Day 8 LMAO.

    I can't help it, i'm JUB addicted.

Whilst i was away, i was browsing some eastern european oriented 'hot guy' blogs, and stumbled on a russian blog which had a music player. The first song was more enchanting to me than the guys, i'd forgotten why i was even there. I HAD to find the song to download. I've fallen in love with it. Though i cannot understand the words, it is so beautiful to my ears. I thought i'd share it with you guys.

P.S. I'm still reading Lord of the Rings. At 8 chapters in, it hasn't started to get good just yet....i understand why not ALL of the book featured in the films!!! Its rather slow to get going.

I formally protest you leaving JUB !!!!

I read one of the Hobbit books when I was a kid. I vaguely remember it being hard to follow, and I got lost in all the different odd character names and locations. I think it had a map inside the cover and I had to keep referring back to it to see where they were.

At that time I wasn't really familiar with Hobbits, Orc's, Halflings, ... All I knew were Elves, Dwarfs, and Fairies - and the Hobbit's elves were nothing like I knew. I also remember being bored to tears with the war that seemed to go on forever. It was like reading a football game to me.

If next year, you make your resolution, 'to stop giving up things', you'll be fine!

A resolution of "only use porn you can get off to" is a good one too.

I never really saw the need for resolutions. If I'm doing something, I must enjoy it... why give it up???
