This is not a current picture, but the only one I like enough to post on Jub at this moment in time. I was 18 in this pic, just came back from work as an IT technician in the dead of night, just over a year ago.

No longer an IT technician. I always wanted to go to uni, which is where I am now.

It's definitely the camera angle - I'm pretty near the top of my weight range. But the exercise program has picked back up, and the eating has started being curtailed, so we'll see if we can get that down a bit. Thanks!

Are you by any chance addicted to carbs? I don't take carbs except for every Sat or Sun. It works well.

Well, "addicted" is kind of a strong word. I lost weight quickest when I actively dieted, but at the same time, I was also my least happy during those times. I thought about food constantly - not "I want cake!" so much as "well, if I eat this, then I'll have to skip eating that, and I can save another twenty calories by doing this other thing..." So I stopped doing that, and when I want to lose some weight, I just eat smarter. Instead of the fried chicken dinner with onion rings, I'll have the grilled chicken with the salad. Instead of a huge mayo-smeared sandwich, I'll have a smaller one (or a wrap) with veggies. Simple stuff like that.
