I'm not lying to myself. I think I can be a handsome guy (I have my days where I don't believe this at all), but models generally require certain traits that translate well to the camera (square jaw, even teeth, prominent strong features that react well and create shape to light). Even in my most handsome, I am not "model material" and I am fine with that.

Days ago, I set up a tripod, used my remote and took a good 250 shots of myself using the multi-burst function on my camera--mainly to get a good photo of me in my T-Shirt. These are the two (out of two-hundred fifty!) that I can tolerate actually looking at. Meanwhile, I've been at model shoots before as a photo assistant. More often than not, they look good in photos. That's why they are models. Their faces aren't fat, they're in excellent shape, and they have naturally photogenic facial structures.

I don't think it takes "low self esteem" to believe that I am not model material. It only takes a dose of reality. There is no shortage of models in this city, and it's clear that I don't look good standing next to them.

This picture is actually from October when a cold front moved through — it was only in the upper 40s that day if memory serves me correctly. I was freezing, but the only place I could escape for some peace was outside, so I dealt with it.

Currently, for late March, we're below average when it comes to weather. We're supposed to be warming up, but it's in the 30s tonight, which is pretty chilly for us Floridians.

Yep. It was cold as fuck on Tuesday morning, and it gets to to 40-50 range at night.
