While it's not a no-hetero zone like the Pines, it's pretty fucking gay in the summer. Plenty of hetero tourists stopping through, whale watchers and others, but it would be hard for Lucas to be out partying there without being noticed by someone who knew him. Like Key West, it's more of a museum of a past bohemia than a functioning one today.

One thing I forgot to add about P'town is that it continues to have a year-round baseline largely Portuguese fishing community.

Even at the height if the season there are restaurants which continue to attract hetero vacationers who drive up from Wellfleet, Chatham, Dennis, etc. Also the spectacular Race Point beaches are a big draw.

America's Bohemia is in general a casualty of the increasing stratification of our society. Where artist go, vacuous hipsters with money, straight & gay, soon follow. Just look what happened to Williamsburg.

All of this isn't to repudiate your assertion that there is a good chance a porn model as high-profile as Lucas would be recognized by someone at the height of the season. While not calling into question the story outright, I'm surprised he didn't show up in one of the many 'out and about' gay mags.

While I posted that I was surprised that there weren't pictures, I think Lucas is a guy you could put a baseball cap and a pair of sunglasses on him and he wouldn't stand out in a crowd. If you heard him kidding around then all bets would be off. In comparison I think that it would be harder to make Dawson invisible in P'town. And it also depends on where he went. If Lucas was here, someone would have noticed.

People with who you know exclusively through familiar in the flat convention of a screen can look very different in the flesh, and with these guys seeing them in a real setting with clothes on further enhances their obscurity. I think that there is almost no correlation between having a single scene sitting around for a couple of months and the number of videos that cf has on the shelf ready to be released (i.e. their inventory). The most it says is that cf doesn’t HAVE to use every scene immediately. If you look back when cfs was started, there were a few "old" scenes that cf surprised us with but not many. There may be other reasons cf defers releasing certain scenes. If you look at the table of nine months of freshmen, there was one guy that had a 38 day lag between his solo/acs and his first guy-guy scene. I would suggest that when cf has a model that they think is going to be a very hot commodity they try to drag the tease out. They don't do it often, but it happens. Look at Aiden's early schedule. It took months. I'd guess that they think Ripley and/or Bradley are that category.

Personally, I think that the most obvious explanation is correct. I'd guess that Bradley is back for more.

I have a jealous streak and fear of abandonment, so as much as I would like to believe I would be alright with my SO scratching an itch I cannot help with, my reality has proven I would have a very hard time dealing with that aspect. I would only count it as infidelity if we had agreed to be monogamous and he did it behind my back. I'm wondering when the 12 Days video was shot. Very likely in November. They took advantage of having a critical mass of guys on site to shoot the Christmas promo.

The twit pic of Zeb I showed above was taken on the set of yesterday's threesome -- either that or Zeb needs more underpants. Did Pete hold off on releasing the picture in anticipation of the release, or was the scene really shot a few days prior? It would seem to me they would require more time to edit, but then maybe they've got the shoots down so well that they require a minimum of editing.

Back when CF used to include the shooting date in the opening credit, a two or even three month lag between shoot and release was the rule. They'd take advantage of the limited availability of the guys, and have them shoot several scenes over the course of a long weekend. The attenuated 'education' process actually occurred in a few days. On a couple of occasions, Lucas filmed two scenes in the same day.

Watched the three way with Marc and was wondering if anyone had any ideas why he seems to be accepted even though other people of color have traditionally not been very well received by the CF members? He is from Belize and that does make him Latino,doesn't it? I think he is pretty stupendous but do think he seems to have let himself go a bit from the first time he was with CF. Just my two cents.
