Being fucked up as hell when you get a tattoo is a good recipe for getting a substandard tattoo. Tattooists regularly deal with morons. If you want the artist to take you seriously and not dismiss you as a moron, you ought to be sober.
A good or responsible tattoo artist won't work on a drunk person. Also you are more likely to bleed if you have been drinking. Don't tale aspirin or anything else that may thin your blood.

^Maybe you should read above your post and see WHY you shouldn't be piss ass drunk and fucked up while getting a tattoo - if you can't be sober and get it, you don't deserve to have something worth looking at.

You are most beautiful naked and standing on your feet, MORE beautiful DANCING on your feet.

You can and do grow more attractive by growing. Markings? UGLY, STUPID, SMALL -- YOU ARE MORE
Dumbest thing I've ever read about not getting tattoos. Thanks for the New Years Eve laugh though.

    Disregard my advice.

It's illegal in my country. It's illegal in the USA, isn't it?

I'm sure you will love it ... until you find something better.

Then you will most likely either regret it and come loath it ... or spend a 'fortune' having it removed.

yeah i would definitely go into the tattoo parlor sober. also, make sure you are doing the research, and look at some of the other work from the tattoo artist who will be working with you. also, make sure you tip. the guy who did my tattoo comes into my job every so often and we still talk.

i was hesitant to get my first tattoo, but i dont regret either tattoo i have had, because i thought them through.

All those wasted miles - all those aimless drives, through green aisles. Our careless life style: it was not so unwise.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, Pat. While they aren't great, they are by far not a disaster. I actually find his tattoos intriguing. I'd like to know the story behind them. For some reason the heart looks fake, like it's been added to the photo.

I'm especially interested in what the tattoo on his abs "might as well" is about

Re: need advice about this tatoo

"might as well" = indecisive, passive lemming, fad-follower

  13. #63

Re: need advice about this tatoo

I find him much more intriguing without the tattoos.

IMO - if you need a TON of graffiti to make yourself more interesting, there might be some introspective things you should look at.

You've also removed his moles and skin blemishes.

Tatts are very good at drawing people's attention to any skin blemishes.

If you want it enough, go for it. People are more neutral and accepting to tattoos than say, facial piercings... I have first hand experience with this.

This bears repeating, 'find a good artist'. This portrait is going to be on you for a while..

Tattoos on the type of men I like are a turn-off for me. But I love tattoos in general, and piercings too. I'd have both ear pierced and tattoos if my men didn't like 'em.
Your tattoo is actually sick, show us how it looks when you got it done.
