got a Nipple Piercing

Like the title says,i got a nipple piercing 2 days ago and everything looks fine. no infection (yet) and it´s not bleeding or anything. it doesn´t even hurt. does anyone have any advice regarding cleaning the wound and how long this kind ot piercing takes to heal and what kind of sports i shouldn´t do and how long? i totaly forgot to ask the lady that did the piercing and although you find some stuff with google, i still would like to hear this kind of stuff from someone who has this kind of piercing himself....

Hello, congratulations on your new piercing. I had mine done a few years ago and found that it was not as difficult as I had imagine. The hardest thing has been the fact the in the beginning I would tend to forget it was there, like when I was taking off a tight t-shirt, worst yet was when I was in the shower and the puffie thing that I use with the shower gel got caught on it, it did not hurt a lot but I learned quickly to pay more attention. I use a non soap bar called "Seba Med" for washing the area for the first six months or so. If for some reason it bleeds, you should use a beta dine solution for cleansing it. The most important thing to remember is not to let anyone play with it until it is completely healed, your sex partner may want to play with it or lick it or suck it, be firm and say no, when in doubt clean it up and keep it clean.
