We're exceptionally bashable...because we're exceptionally fat.

American might have fat people, but apparently other places have judgmental pricks. So, I guess we're the lucky ones.
Tomba, The UK and my country have millions of fatties too!
They're incapable of exercise.
For decades we have been taught that we should avoid fat to avoid gaining weight when in fact it's much more important to avoid carbs (sugar being the worst kind).
The cheapest food is usually high in carbs. Which is why the lower class in western societies is usually more overweight.
If the average person cuts out bread based items and ones with added sugar they are guaranteed to loose weight even if they eat 2000+ calories a day and eat the same amount of fat or even more of it.

Germans are hot!
How naughty can I be and still go to heaven?

Sometimes, it's not even Americans we're seeing.
Like in In Bruge when they got Irish actors to play overweight American tourists.
The fake American accents...
This is true, it can be pretty expensive to eat healthy. Even more so if you want to go the "organic" route.

lol! "In Bruges" (do not forget the 's') have 2 Irish killers in Belgian city of Bruges. Why did you expect "American" accents?
"American" is an accent - not a language dear. Did you understand the movie? It is meant to be simple - not brain surgery....
I Googled "hot native american men" and this guy came up:
Hopefully now your mind is changed based on this really hot model guy.
Anyway, I rarely see any Native Canadians myself. Maybe it's just down to that? Lack of exposure.
Or maybe they're just flying under your radar a lot. Many of them are mixed-raced.
Edit: Another one...Thank goodness for that tumblr tag.

He is beautiful, but his fine features,(the one in black and white) especially his nose, suggest that he is partially northern European.
Honestly, I don't think Americans should let it get to them. It's not something that is unique to them so haters will hate. It's not an "American flaw" but some people will pretend that it is. It's a health issue that many countries around the world are dealing with. And developing countries are also beginning to have this problem as well due to advancements and urbanization.
It's like that dystopian future in Wall-E. Hopefully we can all avoid that...
Yeah, it was really inconsistent.
Usually actors from the UK can pull of American accents very well but apparently not always.
Hm. The first guy? Or the second guy? You could be right.
But I'm sure some naturally have finer features. Just like there are many Asians and blacks who have finer features naturally although many have broad facial features.
Still confused? They are both Irish actors in the main role - playing Irish roles - what "American" accent were you expecting?
It seems this simple presence is messing with your mind? They are "Irish" with "Irish" accents - me thinks rocket science is wishfull thinking....

The simple presence has messed with my mind. You are absolutely right in whatever you are saying here.
Nope. I have no intention of seeing it.
I'm not into musicals, unfortunately.
And I can't stand Anne Hathaway.
I'm pretty sure he only means that the features are narrow/thin, not better or superior.
At least that's how I interpreted it.

NEVER LISTEN TO A ONE SIDED STORY AND JUDGE.
I think my idea earlier covers this one too. Seen a lot of Native models, actors or guys in underwear? Nope. They're a virtually invisible minority in the U.S. There are really attractive Native guys just like any other group... but you are inordinately unlikely to see them in a movie, in a magazine, or shirtless in front of a store window. A lifetime of those kinds of exposures bend people's perception of attractiveness in a way we can't measure, imho. I don't believe guys make it into magazines or underwear ads because "they're the only goodlooking guys." I think they get there because they are what people see and think is goodlooking based on what they've seen.
Ever seen those boxes for Calvin Klein underwear in department stores, with a shirtless guy wearing the underwear but you never see his head? I always wonder if any of those guys are Asian or Latino or maybe even Native-- you never know because you can't see their head and the photography is done in a gray black and white tone. So I think most people just presume they're white dudes and I think that's what you're meant to presume.
That plus if you want to eat well you literally have to go out of your way to do it-- it's what Americans choose to favor in the market as much as anyhting else. IF you choose to eat lighter and better, you have to forego a huge amount of time convenience AND cost convenience-- forget anything with a drive thru, forget any of the big main food store chains near you, and drive further and spend more in healthier choices that are much harder to do on your way to work or grabbing lunch during a workday.
First, the OP's Premise question invites the selection of Beautiful vs. Ugly, so please stop hating on people who were honest enough to try and answer to the best of their abilities. It is a baiting question that people have tried to get beyond to be fair about.Re: Which country has the most beautiful guys and which most ugly?
Next, we have a genetic predisposition to be attracted to people of a similar background to ourselves/our parents - but not 100% - there's that genetic diversity thing that's hardwired into us.
Third, then there's the exotic attraction - but that, too has limits. See Pareto Theorem for further generic details.
As to the statement that Indians and Africans are the same other than culture and religion - that is a false statement.
Indians fall into the Caucasian Race, ethnically speaking, while SubSaharan Africans are Negroid in Race. There are genetic differences. That's not a racist statement, it's a strictly scientific statement, and has nothing to do with my preferences one way ro another. I'm just trying to correct one mis-statement. And, that's also a generic statement. From Pygmy to Watusi, there is certainly a wide range in genetic diversity within the Negroid Race, just as there is in the Caucasian Race.
I'd say that White, Anglo-Saxon Males have been attracted to black females since before the Civil War in the United States. Lord knows Thomas Jefferson was certainly attracted to one of his slaves, since he fathered many MANY mixed race children. One has to question how many "black" people in the United States, today, are pure blood Negroids, versus mixed race. And, skin colour can vary, widely, within a family - I know of two brothers who are mixed race White/Black - the older is light skinned, barely determinable as having Negroid blood (hair is kinky, but not the jet black of negroids), while his kid brother is several tones darker.
Nora Roberts, writing under her nom de plume J D Robb, writes about a society in America in the not-too-distant future. In it, she routinely describes the attractiveness of mixed race people - much as "mutts" in dogs are more even tempered and better pets than a lot of purebred lines are.
Have any of you read about the beauty of Helen of Troy? Do you know what made her so beautiful in the eyes of those who saw her? Her absolute AVERAGENESS - her features struck that unique balance of EXTREME balance/average. THAT is what defined the ultimate beauty. Kind of ties back to my original statement about being genetically predisposed to people just like our own nuclear family. So, it stands to reason that those who have features significantly different would be less attractive, by and large, to a specific set of eyes.
I, personally, think it's a testament to our shrinking world and the web that people are developing attractions for a much wider spectrum of features. JustaGuy posted a picture of someone he thought might be Maori (in lieu of his Rawiri) the other day - he's certainly not my ethnicity, but I wouldn't mind getting to know him a bit more intimately. The same can be said for many other people from around the world.
When you say Brasilian, I have to chuckle. I used to do business with a major company from Brasil - WHICH Brasilian are you speaking of? The Aryian Race tall, Blue-eyed Blonds, the Portuguese, or the mixed Portuguese/Native Brasilian?
As for Indians - I've been fortunate to know a few in my years on Earth. I found some younger guys to be quite attractive.
As someone else said about a different race - haven't seen too many who aged well.
Of course, I look in the mirror, frequently, and can't say as I have aged all that well, myself.
BUT, I have to say I DO meet all of Taz's requirements, so I must be HIS perfect mate. Don't tell his Latin BF, though.

Damn, I thought I'd gotten all of my pics off the web.
I guess it's true what they say . . .
Where's that bugger Matt Damon. It had to be either him or Leonard diCaprio who put my mug out there.

Best - Brazil, USA, Greece, Australia, Italy, Dubai (Arab Guys in general).
Not saying my least preferred.
But isn't USA just a melting pot so not a "pure" item in a way....a dilution of all the rest?

Telstra,
That may be our one path back to the Garden of Eden - until we are "one" how do we get past Isaac and Ishmail, Cain and Able?

I agree. I think the bestlooking white Americans have to rattle off like 5 or 10 different European backgrounds when you ask about it, and the blending goes across generations. I also find that when someone slaps a picture of some European model or actor and says "isn't this guy hot" in front of me somewhere on the net... I find that he looks more like an American model than a typical guy from his country most of the time.
But then the suggestion might be that the monocultures like Korea have the ugliest guys and it isn't true...

^ Well it's common for westerners to think of Asians as a monolithic group. There are like a hundred or more ethnic groups just in China that have mixed since pre-history. But if you ask most people to describe Chinese they'll describe Han Chinese, which is just one ethnic group.
Korea's been invaded so many times throughout history not just by China but by Turkic-extracted nomads, Manchurians, Jurchens, Japanese, etc. There's more ethnic interplay throughout Asia than I think non-Asians generally know.
The Orient has certainly had its share of invasions and conquering nations. I knew there was "bad blood" between Koreans and Japanese from centuries past - something about the Japanese considering the Koreans as second class humans - the poor cousins of the Japanese, or something like that.
I think they are overcoming that - at least in the South, but I'm not an expert by any means, and I certainly don't mean to stir any pots of misinformation.
And I know, if I'll only be true, to this glorious quest . . .
There was certainly formalized second class citizenship issues when Japan invaded Korea in WWII, and Koreans who live in Japan today could still be argued to be 2nd class citizens, though it should probably be noted that this would largely extend to any permanent non-Japanese in Japan who can't own land and other restrictions. But Japan's first invasion of Korea was back in the 1590's so the bad blood had a lot of history to it beyond WWII.
I was looking for an article related to Korean men that I recall reading and I finally found it...

They have a very different view of skin care and foundation than men in western countries. It's become a really big business.
