Judging by the number of guys from there who send me messages on personals sites I would be a hit. Just for fun I changed my location to Manila on one of the sites and had over 100 messages in a day. Same with Ghana (Accra).

Amazing huh?

So next time you say: "Gee. it would be nice to have a bf..." go to either of those places and presto...they will be lining up for you right there at the airport.

Network? I'm talking about a gay personals site like gayromeo not a network and yes I got messages from those two places when I listed my location as here in Calgary. Perhaps they all want to come to this city. I'll try changing to maybe Vientiane Laos or Harbin China or maybe Uaupes Brasil etc and see if I still get them. Good point...results may vary depending on location. I have no picture there btw so ethnicity isn't an issue and I listed no ethnicity or age on profile....so it's probably location driven result.

Needs more testing. So yeah once the tests are complete you get the picture. But there is no "we"

you are not getting the whole picture not "we" unless there is more than one of you.

It is true. if you go to many countries you will get massive responses.

What I have found though is that very closed societies have odd ideas that don't make for good relationships. Like when i lived in the PI I had many folks interested but as I got to know them I found out they did not consider themselves gay... yet we met on a gay dating website??????

Turns out societal pressures there mean never admitting you are gay in many places. It was quite odd. Even for a rather reserved person like myself.....

Yep I have actually. One of bf's was from Manila came to Canada worked as a nurse after training and we were together for several years. But my comment about narrow had to do with palberts comment about cultural norms. That's a difficult concept in itself...his reply was kindof pat and simplistic.
